Hi Guys
Monthly OP went out today - just waiting for my balance to update but this month I will have dipped below £39999.99. Hurrah! Can't wait to see the new balance - it's gonna look soooo good.
This months OP was:-
Budgeted OP £151.00
2 Halifax Reward Accounts £10
Halifax Clarity C/Back £5
Cashback sites £49.22
Shares Dividend £9.00
CA surplus £5.00
Little ole roundup £0.78
TOTAL £230.00 which is better than a smack in the chops but very little of that was due to any hardwork or sacrifice.
I've been able to increase my Budgeted OP a little because my life insurance went down by £1 and my Gas DD has decreased by £8 per month
My standard payment also went out - this consists of around £148 capital repayment so £148 plus £230 = really must try to do better and squeeze out more. Will try my best to reduce food and social budgets - although both are difficult in approach to xmas. I've saved up some money for Xmas pressies but am going to do my best to come in under budget and put any left over against an OP in Jan.
The bad news is - someone moved the gate post this morning  and I scraped my wheel arch. It hasn't pushed it in and I don't think there is any metal showing but it could really do with a proper job on it to stop it going rusty. Am very very annoyed (although there are clearly worse things) as its going to be inconvenient not to have the car for a couple of days and even worse, it will cost precious money! Thankfully I always have a little aside in my savings to cover car repairs BUT that's not the point. Grrrrr
Cake - I will update google docs. Are you abandoning us then next year?Or are you just fed up of all the SS work?

Hi Pencekeeper,
I enjoyed my logging in today. Under mortgage, it now just informs me that "you have no products in this range to view" - a lovely summary to look at! Many congratulations on finally (and conclusively) getting it down to next to nowt. My family and friends have all been really supportive and congratulatory which has been brilliant as well so I hope you get the same reaction over the weekend.
Cheers,
Billy
Thanks mate - I had a great weekend and trust you did too.0
