Salsa - massive congratulations. Three months to start shouting from the rooftops though!? I've heard a few folk say that having no mortgage was a wee bit anti-climactic. I hope starting to treat yourself and noticing the tangible bits and pieces you can do and buy gets you into the swing of mortgage-free delerium!!
Fluffysox - congratulations on both the pay rise and, more importantly, the pregnancy. The very best of luck to you and I hope your OH gets a job soon. Things do seem to be picking up a bit on the job market but I'm sure the droves of public sector people who are anticipating flooding the market in the next year will take care of any renewed optimism I have!!
Cheers,

I've been thinking about this myself. I have the feeling a weekend of nice food and alcohol will be coming my way! I also have the Friday - Monday off so 4 day weekend.0 -
Hi, haven't updated for a while. It's been a funny year. Husband had 10% pay cut for much of the year, but now has a new job with a bit of a pay rise :j. We've also just switched mortgages to a lower rate so I should now be able to start chipping away again.0
