Mortgage just come out of fixed term, and the rate has now dropped but set my payment back to what it was, so I will automatically be paying £80.86 per month starting september.

This month is £26.31 for me though will be adding to this by the end of the month.

have paid this for past 4 months so my total which i have not checked in with before is £105.24

No 192 here reporting in with a "standard" OP of £500 for August.

Not sure if I will manage any more as I'll be away for the second half of the month, might have some extra to pay in September though, that would be good.

If I can come back from holidays  without any big credit card bills then the mortgage OPs will benefit. There again my watch packed up and a duty free one might be calling.....only if the price is right though ;)
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

Congratulations poppy. If you don't mind me asking, what are your plans now with the mortgage all but gone. I've been told by a couple of people that thay have slipped into a wee bit of a malaise without the target of paying it off so I'm trying to think of what the next goal should be!

    Cheers,

    Billy

I'm going to have a few months to regroup, then i'm going to start to save for either an BTL apartment which could ultimately be a retirement home, or a house to move on to which would require work but would be fabulous when finished and with a decent garden which i don't have here and miss so much! The plan will be to do whatever with as small a loan as possible. Will find it very hard to get out of my MFW habits anyway I think! :rotfl:
