I'm also experiencing problems with switching. I used uswitch on the 20.5.06 but heard nothing for 10 days so I emailed primus who asked me to confirm my phone number. I did this by reply but then heard nothing. I phoned them yesturday but they said they had no record of me. I have now asked uswitch for some feedback.

I'm beginning to wonder if this offer was to good to be true or just to popular for them to manage. I will stick with it for a while longer to see if I get a response and the offer but so far I am not impressed.

I tried dialling one of the numbers and it sounds like its connecting a dial up modem, which i dont have??

I also use Linux operating system so no problems with spyware dialling, i only have a router anyway.

And as Sensemaya the calls all last for exactly 1 minute.

Is there something fishy going on at Primus???

No their is nothing fishy about them. Someone has used your Interactive TV/Phone line to call Sky Premium Rate Numbers.

I have disconnected the Sky phone line. Kids haven't spotted it.

I have transferred over to Euphony and will update when everything is up and running.Having mentioned my woes to the Euphony adviser about Sky,he told me to contact them again once my account is up and running to block all Prem nos.

I signed up on 22nd May and only heard on Saturday that my switch over date is 19th June.

    What a ridiculously long time!

18 working days? I think that's about right.

Try changing electricity or gas supplier!
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
