Oh..my..lord!!! wow but yeah NO!! how did you do that? if you are bored maybe you could try a couple of things out for me?! instead of the strip (which lets face it i'm going to balls up!) we were looking at the wall art, the one i liked was the tree which goes kind of over the headboard..could you do one of those is a lighter teal for me..Thanks!!

I think Ormuses second attempt is pretty good.

Wow that's fab! was thinking a little bit more branchy than chunky tree but love that..now if you could just pop round with your paint and brushes that will do nicely!!
    Thanks

We've just bought the metal tree sculpture that is at the bottom of ormus' last post. It's in our dining room, we love it : http://www.gardenornamentsandaccessories.com/

I love the teal tree you did ormus, we're getting extension done and will have a whole new bedroom to decorate and this has given me some really good ideas

Can I ask what software you were using to easily change the wall appearance, as this would be really useful when trying to do our interior design.

Masking tape does not work as well as you might think it does. Paint often leaches because the wall isn't completely flat itself, it's sort of pitted once it's been painted. You'd have to be very, very sure that it was stuck down perfectly into every nook and cranny.

This technique does work well though: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Paint-Clean-Lines/
