never-in-doubt wrote: »Mate as Fermi says, they are automated. Basically you ignore them. If they have not given you a 14 day notice before action letter then any default they add is unlawful - simple. I think the letter you have is this, so in about 3 weeks you'll get served the actual default notice but you can get it removed (by going to court) as they cannot do this whilst in dispute (but they do do it)!
Just ignore them, not even worth arguing over mate.
I cannot get over the fact that the banks think it's appropriate to do things that are blatantly illegal.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I live in France but have UK credit cards which at the moment I have been able to pay by transferring from one to the other. Our business in France is haveing problems and I can't afford to pay any of my credit cards, I have been reading about enenforceabilty on this site and have downloaded the first letter to send to the credit card companies, do your accounts have to be in default before you send this letter or can I just send it now? I need to make payments to all my cards in the next week or so and don't know what to do, any advice would be welcome.0
