    Hiya

I've just been thinking, you knew from the start they'd default you and to be fair instead of wasting time conversing it may be better to sit it out and just accept the default, wait a few weeks then send the following letter direct to the CRA for removal: 9. Default Removal Letter to CRA's

I was planning on telling Natwest their job and generally being a smart-ars responding to each point belittling them but on reflection, it may just be best to sit it out and accept the default (and a saving of £13k!).... What do you think? After all, you're already much better off which was surely the main objective here? :D

Ok NID think i will just sit it out and see what happens. Like i said before this credit card does not appear on Experion or Equifax files at the moment for some reason. Am i better sending the 3 CRAs letters before it maybe appears on their files?

    Thanks once again

    Hiya

There aint a default cos you said they only sent the notice the other day so it isn't officially defaulted yet.

Wait and see what happens in the next few weeks and when the default does appear then you should send those letters to the CRA's... :D

If required, i'll write to natwest later for you... in fact I may still do it over the weekend to stop them adding a default. One point, you don't actually bank with them do you? They will start to look at RoSo soon....

I do have a bank account with them but dont use it no more. I have tried to speak to them to sort it out but they dont want to listen. I suppose they will be chasing me for that soon but i am scared if i pay them they will take it towards my credit card. I have a new bank account with Barclays that i use for everything now.

    What is ROSO please?

Is it worth offering them a small full and final settlement to close account and stop default as a last attempt?

Who Natwest>? Pointless cos they will still mark the file as partial settlement (A/P) which will affect you obtaining credit. I asked about bank account cos you have to stop using it from now on..........

Sorry, slight digression here but you are kind of on the subject...

One of my loans is with Alliance and Leicester (defaulted on, only paying token monthly paymens at mo, not able to CCA them as only took out loan early 2008 ) and my current account is with Abbey. They are both joining as one to be Santander from January so does this mean that I should be on the look out for (yet another!) new current account due to RoSo?

:o Sorry for slightly off the topic question :o

Ok i wont ever be using NatWest for anything again. I have been a perfect customer (including business) for over 20 years banking and 13 years on credit card. I come into financial dificulty and ask for time and help, do they give a flying ****. Of course not. Balls to them from now on!
