Bed wetting -mattress ruined -accidental damage?

if it is health/illness related and the friend or yourself knew about it then the insurer will not cover as the event was forseeable.
like a pregnant lady deciding on a home birth and trying to claim for the mess - sorry but that is forseeable.
as are young childrens bedwetting episodes.
however if it was a complete accident and out of character - eg: unforseeable then it should be covered.
as someone stated a pregnant ladies waters breaking 3 months early - covered as unexpected. on the due date not covered as expected.
