    Morning all :hello:

MSD - you & Tris are still in my thoughts and prayers

Extremely tired this morning and not entirely sure why! Think this "getting on public transport every day" malarkey is taking it out of me much more than I thought it would! My boss is on annual leave so I can't see myself breaking any records today - I may even have a little snooze :rotfl:

DH is taking me out for a meal tonight to celebrate selling our flat. I will definitely need a sleep before that otherwise I'll be snoring in my Dansak (see OSer's - I even choose lentils when I don't have to!).

Anyway, have bedclothes to change today when I get home and one load of whites & lights to put on but other than that pretty quiet. Will be making jam for the first time this weekend so wish me luck!

Hope everyone is ok and has a good day. Hugs all round xx

:D Don't worry. I find that my children respond well to shouting in any accent and the dog is still married to dtwin2. They had an acrimonious divorce last week but seem to have reconciled and another ceremony was conducted by dtwins friend on Wednesday. ;):o:D

Another fun filled morning here. OH very kindly said I could have a lie in but I couldn't get back to sleep as I heard him wandering around downstairs in a state of some confusion. Luckily dtwin 2 kept them all in order and even checked that dtwin1 had changed her pants. :D
Tried to get back to sleep but Mr Mouse had all his penpals over and was conducting a clog wearing, tap dancing lesson behind the bedroom wall so sleep was elusive. I laid 3 humane traps in the kitchen which are supposed to shut at both ends when the mouse goes in to get the peanut. Unfortunately our mice are smarter than the average and seem to have rigged a system whereby one holds the door open and they all all run in and get the nuts. The consequence being that all the traps are empty and shut:confused: and the mice are high on too much protein.:o I have been out to feed the hens and I'm sure I heard them humming the tune from the Great Escape.

Dell computers have kindly informed me that because I live in the sticks, I have to wait in for my computer to be collected for repair sometime in the next 4 DAYS!! So I'm housebound today.
Have a gammon simmering for tonight which I'll bake later and do with veggies and parsley sauce. Have some accounts to sort out too so will get that out of the way before the weekend.
Want to catch up on my Christmas present making this weekend so will be knitting and sewing away. ;)

    Take care everyone

    Haribo x

    Morning all,

I haven't managed to post much this week, make that not at all. :D We've had DGS here all week and I've been keeping him entertained. Day at beach, halloween party, play group, afternoon play at friends, shopping, island Mass, craft group & today we went to Dreamworld. Phew. Ninny needs a rest. :D I thought he was going home Sunday but XDIL txt today to ask if he could stay another week. :T

DGS & I also had a morning in the kitchen one day. Made a batch of tomato relish out of cherry tomatoes. I used nearly 2 kg of them so you can imagine how fiddly it was. Also made a yoghurt cake & jam drops. DS2 is here at the moment and goes back to the mines on Sunday. DD is over this weekend too. I was going to go shopping tomorrow as one of the other islands is having a market day tomorrow and good buys are usually to be had. ATM I can't seem to muster up the energy for it. We'll see.

Hope you've all had a good week & <hugs> to those that need them. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
