I've not followed this thread religiously but logged on the Boots site this morning of the impression the OOTW was going to be £30. Very annoying.
  • Just in case it's been missed, if you do buy one of these....don't forget to get the free no7 GWP.

Oh i really wanted this OOFTW but dont want to pay £40 for it. Has anyone managed to get one if they phone CS and argue the point that OOTW was originally advetised as half price. Really pee'd off now.

  • It's not really surprising that Boots are going back on previous promises - after all Mr B is actually Mr Hornby - the man who ruined HBOS with his greed- looks like Boots may be on the same slippery slope

It might be half price if you buy 3 - taking into account the third off and the 342, but what about those people who only want 1, thats definately not beter than half price is it?Shame on you Mr B for treating your customers like we are fools, i think your balance sheet will say something completely different.

    In the Christmas mailing.

I'm so glad you knew that - I had no idea where I had seen it and actually have the mailing in my bag. I'm going to e-mail them and complain.

I've scanned it if anyone else wants a copy. I've tried to add the link but it isn't working. I'll keep trying

Aah, but if you'd bought three before the OOTW, they'd have cost you £40 each (as on 3for2), so you're still not getting them half price, as they don't work out to £20 each when buying three.
