I've not followed this thread religiously but logged on the Boots site this morning of the impression the OOTW was going to be £30. Very annoying.0

Oh i really wanted this OOFTW but dont want to pay £40 for it. Has anyone managed to get one if they phone CS and argue the point that OOTW was originally advetised as half price. It's not really surprising that Boots are going back on previous promises - after all Mr B is actually Mr Hornby - the man who ruined HBOS with his greed- looks like Boots may be on the same slippery slope0

It might be half price if you buy 3 - taking into account the third off and the 342, but what about those people who only want 1, thats definately not beter than half price is it?Shame on you Mr B for treating your customers like we are fools, i think your balance sheet will say something completely different.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

In the Christmas mailing.
I'm so glad you knew that - I had no idea where I had seen it and actually have the mailing in my bag. I'm going to e-mail them and complain.
I've scanned it if anyone else wants a copy. I've tried to add the link but it isn't working. I'll keep trying
