If anyone buys these, remember that the till "sees" the price for 3 first as £180 - so for goodness sake don't just pick up one free gift!

Yesterday, on shopping night, I bought:

    3 x Hands & Feet sets @ £20 each (on 3 for 2)

    1 x Protect & Perfect Serum @ £18.50

    3 x GWPs

The till "sees" the price as 3 x £20, plus 1 x £18.50 = £78.50, so I was entitled to one GWP for each £22.

    Then, the 3 for 2 for the sets kicked in - £40, plus P & P £18.50 = £58.50

Then, my 10% over 60s discount was applied - leaving £52.65

I used my 500 points Xmas Bonus, plus 1200 points, plus 250 from a previous GWP = 1950 points.

In my 3 GWPs plus my 3 sets, each had 250 points coupon = 1500 points

So, I spent £52.65, I will have 3450 points, so in Boots logic I got:

    3 x GWPs
    3 x Hands & Feet sets
    1 x P & P Beauty Serum and paid ........................ £18.15!!!!!!!

Well done thats really good :D

  • The thing to remember with Boots Shopping is to make your purchase work for you!!! I hope to be able to get the H & F sets, and other No 7 items, in the 75% sale, but we have no way of knowing if Mr B is going to have a 75% sale next year!

I have 3 Birthdays to buy for, in the first few weeks of 2010, and these sets look really nice.

The GWPs contain items that I want to use, and the bags themselves are great for filling with No 7 accessories, when they have a Goldie or Shmoldie next, which make really nice cheer-up presents.

And with all the points I earn, I can then buy nice things for me too! When we had the last Christmas Evening, I put £30 on my pay-as-you-go phone, and got a hair dryer, which I needed, so my points were a real bonus.

The GWP is valid till 29th December, so if you buy anything on the 26th/27th weekend, when the No 7 Christmas are hopefully half price, the till may well read the original price first!

Hi all must say with these not worth rushing out for offers of the week, im left wondering wether we will actually get a half price sale, maybe Mr B will change his mind and make it a third off sale instead.

Surely the postage costs would outweigh any 'profit'?

most are charging an extra £7.99 postage. I don't know what the motivation is though, maybe some of them just wanted one cheap and don't need the others. The £65 one is being cheeky, there's 10 at bin, and it actually has "ONLY AVILABLE UNTIL WEDNESDAY 18TH AT THIS PRICE" as it's subheading:D

Actually that's not a bad idea. might put the 3rd one I don't need on Ebay. Not that I want to make money it, just cover my costs.

I actually do this if i want something but only need say 2 of them, putting the spare one on ebay helps me pay for the two i keep for myself.

I was thinking about getting this as a present for my MIL but unsure whether to get 3 and sell the other 2, if I end up getting just £20 each for the other 2 then it means I havnt lost out on anything and gained some boots points too!

Well, I could use one for a present for somebody if you were struggling to offload one? Not really willing to pay what Boots are charging but if you're wanting to flog one online, I've a Paypal account? No probs if you're not interested, but drop me a PM if you are! :)
