To give you some food for thought, this is what you could do on the final Shopping Evening:
3 x Hands & Feet sets @ £20 each (on 3 for 2) or any No 7 for £20 (apparently, only the gift sets costing £20 or more have points vouchers within)
1 x Protect & Perfect Eye Cream @ £16.50
3 x GWPs
The till "sees" the price as 3 x £20, plus 1 x £16.50 = £76.50, so you'd be entitled to one GWP for each £22.
Then, the 3 for 2 for the sets kicks in - £40, plus P & P £16.50 = £56.50
Then, a 10% over 60s discount could be applied - leaving £50.85 (phew! Just made it!)
Use 500 points Xmas Bonus, if you have them, plus 1200 points, plus 250 from a previous GWP, if you have it = 1950 points.
In the 3 GWPs and the 3 sets, each will have 250 points coupon = 1500 points
So, you'd spend £50.85, you'd have 3450 points, so in Boots logic you'd get:
3 x GWPs
3 x Hands & Feet sets
1 x P & P Eye Cream and pay ........................ £16.35!!!!!!!
:T:T:T :j:j :T:T:T
People are selling these GWPs on ebay for over a fiver, so if you wanted to, you could actually get your eye cream and sets for, er, nothing! :rotfl:
And that's what makes Bootsing fun!
I am hoping against hope that next week's OOTW really is a special Gift Set of P & P products, and that it is half price, and it is on 3 for 2, or something equally gorgeous is the OOTW, and that offer will still be valid on the 28th November, and can be incorporated into a most bargaineous shop! :T
I don't know if there is a word "bargaineous", but it sums up the way I feel when I can s-t-r-e-t-c-h my pension to such extremes!
And remember (Grandma Scarlett talking here), if it gets you in debt up to your armpits, it isn't even a teeny weeny bargain!

I LOVE reading your posts SS, you should post more often! :T0 -
Whilst we all know the price of the OOTW is naff, i cant understand the logic of saying wait for the sale they will have loads left if they keep this up.
The way i see it, if the sale is 50% off, thats good but with the 342 being removed, you just arent going to save much and that is why i cant grasp why people go mad for the Boots boxing day sale.
Having said that, when you get to 75% off its better, but do you really get any of the good stuff left by then.0 -

Very true!
On boxing day it will only be £30 which is still a bit cheaper than it is just now but how do you know if there will even be meny left by then!
And at £30 in the sales you prob wont go buying 3 like you would on the 3 for 2!
The only things I managed to get in the 75% off last sale was kids bubble bath!!0 -
Boots are advertising this everywhere, it's even a sponsored ad on Facebook at the minute.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

Have any of you actually bought one of these yet?!
My gf is really wanting one but I have made it clear to her that it isn't really worth it... lolol I still want her to be happy though :rotfl:;) keep me in the good books for xmas night :A:D0 -
Hi i never buy the No7 skin care stuff (facial serums, moisturiser, cream cleansers) because it brings me out in white spots also although i find it oily/ greasy i dont find it moisturises or gives my skin a "glow" etc . I love neals yard and elizabeth arden visible difference. So the skin care type sets are never worth the money for me. But i do like the wipes and eye make up remover.Have any of you actually bought one of these yet?!
