I think I'll sit this one out! :D
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • As for the quality of targa pc's: they are excellent. I have the 3500 version from last year and its as solid as a rock.
Customer support is also great: they even helped me out when I was trying to open it myself to change the dvd writer (you are allowed to do this type of thing under the warranty)
It is a decent price for the parts and the labour (the insides are beautifuly laid out, no dangling wires etc), and the PC should be relativley quiet.
It doesnt mention a graphics card, but it should have one (usually a nvidia 6xxx series, not onboard).
I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.

I can also vouch for the quality and telephone support, my Targa PC is excellent build quality and very neat inside the case, i have phoned tech support only twice but they use a normal O1 phone number and has been answered in a couple of rings everytime and they have been very helpful, on the other hand my old Medion PC was a nightmare and Medion used a premium 0870 number and was on hold for about 1/2 hour before it was answered and took over 2 weeks for the parts to arrive :(

Im pretty sure you could not build or have this pc built at a local PC store for cheaper, the only place that could beat it will be Dell with there stupidly cheap offers that come along from time to time but these wont include a 3yr on site warranty :)

Sorry, but I've had to post this.

Theres a tone starting to creep into this online community that needs to stop pretty quickly.

All the posts on this site are voluntary, and its also up to the individual whether or not they follow them up. Individuals are doing their best to help out other people in this community. If the people constantly harping on and criticising other users (you know who you are!) about their posts don't stop doing it, or moderate their tone somewhat, we'll get less posts and therefore less information, and less offers.

No post is useless. If it only highlights how good some other offer is then its been useful.

The site was set up to benefit the whole community - and it does! If you
don't like an offer - ignore it, or post a better offer, or offer constructive critiscism. Don't keep going off on one because YOU don't think it worth posting.

There are clearly many of us who abide by the above philosophy, and probably equally many of us who are getting fed up of the 'harpies' going off on one over and over again.

I repeat - if you don't like it, ignore it, or be constructive. We're all part of the MSE community. That should mean something.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I think the OP has a valid and useful point about backing up your better spec claims. It sounds like they are not clued up in PC specification details (a I am sure many PC owners and would be owners aren't either), and so they are asking to provide a (useful) link to the spec that you are refering too that is better.
Anyone can claim they know a better deal, if so prove it!

why would you, i pointed out the computer you posted is not that good of a deal, what more do you want?! and i say think b4 u post as there are many computer offers around which are better than this one. so i would say that you SERIOUSLY need to think about your posts. many thanks

A few days ago you said that a particular offer for a disk drive wasn't very good value and that better was around.

I and several others asked you to show us where this might be.

I, and I suspect everyone else that asked, was not at all surprised by your total silence and inability to back up your claims, which were total bull$hit !

If you can't add anything constructive then why bother to waste not only your time but ours as well !

Well said mate, couldnt agree more.

The tone, not just in this thread but across the site recently has not been in the keeping of this sites motto.

MORPH3US - Keep posting offers, this is what this site is all about and thrives on people like you. It may not be a bargain to everyone but if it is to one person then it is worth posting.

    Agree too

Keep posting - if a thread isn't particularly good it will drop out of sight quick
