32" CRT TV how to give it away ?

Hi, I've recently bought a new LCD TV and have a Phillips 32" TV that is in perfect working order, I'm loathed to take it to the tip but I've tried Freecycle and Gumtree and no one seems interested does anyone have any ideas.
I don't want anything for the TV but would like to see it at least used as it still works well...

Hi, what are your rules for Freecycle? as I would suggest keep relisting it every few weeks or so. I have just joined ours, and while some things seem to get snapped up within minutes of being listed, I also noticed from the history, some things take a few listings before they get interest.0

I have a similar problem with a CRT tv. All our freecycle is is people asking to furnish there house so i've given up on that. Its taking so much room I may have to take to the dump which I am trying to avoid0

to be honest I am shocked that you've had no takers so far (you anywhere near Harrogate;))
thinking out loud here but you could try an ad in local shop, ebay (I know you said you don't want anything for it but still an option?), netmums has a for sale/free section, local website assuming there is one (one near us is neighbours united but no idea if that's just local to me lol), donate it to school as a prize, charity shops (as above just ring ahead to see if they can accept electricals), community centre, let it be known among friends/family etc, care home, ask anywhere and everywhere basically.
good luck and hope you find a good home for it:T0 -

I put some things on ebay a few months back that I didn't want any money for, I put them on a buy it now for 99p, collection only. The 99p was to cover my ebay costs only. They were gone quite quickly actually.Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs
30lb lost of 30lb by June 2012 :j:j:j (80lb overall goal)0 -
It is widescreen and I'm in Cardiff so not near Harrogate sorry ! Perhaps I'll try ebay and freecycle again. I'm under pressure from the other half as it does take up quite a bit of space !0

Put it at the end of your driveway with a note on it saying £100 ONO. It'll be gone overnight.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.
