I brought 5 items off ebay over the last 2 days (all from the same seller) i paid over £500 the payment was from my credit card through nochex
now i recieve an email from ebay saying they have withdrawn the auctions.
So where does that leave me??

I should add i brought all the items at the same time just had to pay in 2 different lots due to nochex daily limit

You should still be able to chargeback via your credit card so phone them and get the relevant forms. If the person was a scammer then apart from leaning on your credit card you have no other real way of sorting this out. If however the seller has been pulled for a genuine reason (and it does happen) then you may well find your stuff will just turn up anyway.
Try emailing the seller and seeing what he says.

Yes you can but only via credit card, ithey don't offer just a plain chargeback without involving your CC company like paypal.

I agree with Soolin. I had this once but my goods turned up anyway. Did the seller have good feedback before?0

Do you have any idea why the auction was removed? Did it infringe copyright (VERO) or was it something you're not allowed to sell on there?
If it's simply that, it's possible the seller will still be going through with the transaction. I once had an auction removed because it supposedly infringed copyright (the company just didn't want their items sold on eBay) but I still continued with the sales as that is what I'd agreed to do.
Have you tried contacting the seller? I'm not sure if eBay will still allow you to do so but you could try requesting their details so you can give them a call.0 -
OK a little bit more detail. The seller had a zero rating but this was explained in the listing which i believed however the day after i paid i noticed their rating was 9 (and he got it it by buying 10p ebooks) he had brought those items before the auction had been listed.
I actually think it might have been removed as there was 5 items which i brought all 5 but ebay have only wthdrawn 4 i have written to the seller to ask what is going on.
I wont name him at the moment as i want to see if its true or not. I have asked written to ebay asking why it was withdrawn and also nochex. At the moment i havent contacted ebay and nochex and the seller so its now wait and see.
Thanks for the replies. I really hope i can sort it out as its a lot of money..
ps i am not sure why it was removed the email i got from ebay just said it had been removed for breaching one or more of our policies.I have finally acknowledged my debt.....0 -
This is beginning to sound dodgy. A new seller, only gets feedback later from 10p auctions and doesn't take paypal it just feels like a scam.
Whilst I agree that you need to contact the seller and see what he says I would also strongly advise that you start making contact with your CC company to see what you need to do in case you have to chargeback. If you do need to act you may need to act quickly, so knowing what you have to do will be of advantage.
