ONLY if you buy and pay online and book a slot to have them fitted. Turn up on spec to them or print off a quote and go in with it and you pay around £200.

I know someone who works for Kwik Fit, if you tell them the price online they should match it in the centre. They want you to pay instore rather than online as it goes on their sales so will often do a deal to get the sale.

Curiously, I tried tyre-shopper, blackcircles and etyres, and tyre-shopper came out the cheapest of the three for my wheels which are 155/70/13/T (yes, iddy biddy biscuit wheels :rotfl: )
....and my local fitter is National according to tyre-shopper.

Haven't yet tried my local independent, but pretty sure he does budgets for about £18, not sure of the price for the premium brands for this size, but he usually beats most other prices.

I'd never use KF. Just Tyres or more recently my trusted local garage will fit and balance two for more like £80-£90.
  • I use blackcircles very cheap prices.

I would never use kwik fit, national, budget or any of these chains. The prices they quote is unreal. £180 for one cheap brand tyre for my car. I can get four Firestone tyres for £200 at an independent tyre seller. Always check with an independent if you have one in your area.

If you dont have an independent try one of the online places above.
  • You gotta shop around on tyres and there are so many variables out there that can affect the cost. Also, the OP doesn't mention what size tyres the quotes was for, or what make/manufacturer.

I recently bought 2 new rear tyres (185/55/15's) for my car and had them fully fitted for £96 the pair. Prices at the big national places weren't a lot more expensive either, but I went where I did as it was clsoe to work.

However, that was for their 'budget' tyres, and I could have paid a whole lot more for the same size in an exensive make.
  • Costco are pretty good, if you're in my area, I'll take you.
