Business Traveller+ Need to know best mobile sim

I have been reading the article and the sticky in this forum regarding the best payasugo sim for travelling.
I will be travelling alot throughout europe mainly and need a decent sim in which the other half can reach me.
I have noticed that the SIM4travel seems to be decent sim for this purpose.
(1) Anyone know if this is any good?
(2) I noticed it will cost 10pence per minute to phone from the UK to the SIM. Is there any other way to get this down?
(3) Any other SIM which can will be cheaper than this SIM in terms of phoning out? Most common european countries such as France seems to cost 25pence per minute to call out.
I will be also travelling to the USA on business but definitely not as frequent as throughout europe. I might be in the USA for a 6 week block.
(4) Which sim will be the best for this? It seems the SIM4travel is too expensive for this?
(5) I need the otherhalf to also reach me but the cheapest method? Which SIM?
(6) Would it be better getting an international PAYASUGO SIM in the USA? If so where and which one?
Mobile internet???
(7) Anyone know the cheapest way to get internet throughout each country without going into a internet cafe? As people know, hotel internet is rather expensive. Any ideas?
I greatly appreciate this. I need your help as soon as possible.

A lot of these sims use a jersey/iom number, so therefore any one calling you will be charged as it does not come out of inc mins, I use o2 "my europe extra" have a look at that.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0

my europe extra looks more better. I am on o2 pay monthly already. My partner is on O2, does this mean she can call my mobile for free?
Do you know what is the best method for USA? I could get a separate SIM. I will be going there only for roughly 6 weeks per year at most for work. 70% of my time will be in europe travelling with work.Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

Dont know about USA, but it will cost your partner the same to ring you as if you are in UK, but it wont cost you any roaming charges to receive a call

Some of the global SIMs now have dual IDs, which can even give free incoming calls in America when called on the IoM number. The ekit SIM resold by 0044 is one of these, and there are also various Callkey resellers such as Easyroam and Geosim. You might find the ekit one on eBay for £9.99; search for roaming sim and take care about which you select as there are several ekit versions.
The IoM and Jersey numbers of the various brands come from your O2 inclusive minutes at the moment, useful for forwarding your incoming calls.
You might also investigate use of separate callback providers with any of these, though some have fair use considerations which apply.
Depending whether you also want to let people in USA you are visiting call you on a local number, you might get a local SIM as well, ATT or T-mobile or a virtual brand such as Tuyo with its cheap int'l calls. If you decide to go for only a local SIM there, rather than a global SIM instead or as well, set up cheap call forwarding via a VoIP provider to let people here reach it or to help forward your incoming O2 calls.0 -

Cheers Redux. The geosim looks ok. Have you used this before?
I will probably be in Wisconsin and California. Sounding very stupid, this should be ok right?Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

Any sim you choose will work anywhere in the USA at the same cost. As Redux mentioned, the dual number (UK/US) sim ones be better if you also want your US callers to reach you.
If you do plan on buying a US prepaid sim, do not buy AT&T unless you have a phone with the 850/1900 bands. If your phone only has the 1900 band, then tmobile is your best bet. Tmobile primarily uses 1900 and AT&T uses both 850/1900.TEDDYRUKSPIN wrote: »Cheers Redux. The geosim looks ok. Have you used this before?

I was wondering if calls to Isle of Man mobile numbers, ie. 07924, would come out of inclusive minutes for an Orange contract with CPW? Any help would be greatly appreciated.0

No these would be chargeable at 12p ex vat per minute.0
