She was down on her medical records as dob 1939 when I realised this I told them she was born in 1935. Why did I do this because I am STUPID !!! STUPID!!! How do I kick myself. Do you think I could change the date on her medical records again???

Did they simply take your word for it and change them, or did you provide evidence ? Having said that, why would any medical professional change a DOB without talking to the person the medical records relate to?

I wouldn't think there's any chance at all of you giving them a different DOB now, although your wife will be able to discuss the incorrect information with her practice.

  • Picardy girl we just celebrate them like everyone else but on the wrong day. The correct birthdate is 1935. Patchwork cat yes we were married in the UK. Alfies mum sorry I did'ent realise it would be taken that way the smiley face was for the wrong birthdates I love my wife and I would rather she lived for the full term of the policys but maybe she wont I like to be prepared for every eventuality. Only kidding about this: '

  • A couple of us have said - don't do anything else until you know her real DOB you are only compounding this. I have offered to help you do this. Someone else also said that they doubt her medical records have been changed on your say so. Stop asking the same question over and over. Our advice is find out what her real DOB is and then contact people.

OP - I think you need to get a grip. All your wife has to do is write to her local Registrar with copies of the birth certificates and ask them to sort it out once and for all.
Of course, if you're trying to do things behind her back the above won't be an option, will it.

  • Errata I have this feeling that the OP's wife is not British born? I might be wrong, but I asked if she was and if they were married in teh UK, the only answer to that was married in the UK. So depending on where she was born it may not be as simple. If we knew maybe we could help more. I have offered to use my ancestry subscription to look into records if she is British born, but I don't have access to records outside UK, too expensive!

But the OP should not tell anymore presumed DOB's until he knows for certain.
  • What a lot of suspicious people you are she is from the uk, she was with ne when they changed her date of birth to confirm it no they never asked for proof they just believed us. My
