Additional 1.500 into isa not allowed.

hi. wonder if anyone is having the same difficulty as i am having. I have tried to add the extra 1.500 to my this years' isa and have been told that because it is a fixed interest rate one, i am not allowed to put anything else into it.. this is my first posting. thanks..... any advice welcome.

generally if it is fixed and only allows 1 payment then yes this is the case
