            Morning one and all
Long time no see!!! I LOVE this thread cos I don't post that often anymore, when I pop back it's like catching up with old friends
Breakfast - Toast (done the OS way under grill cos broke the toaster ) )
Lunch - Veg broth and pumpkin muffins
Dinner - JP cheesey beans, cake n custard
I'll be cooking lots today as need to use up 2 pumkins n lots of veg. With the pumpkins I plan to make curry, muffins, bacon & pumpkin pasta and a tray bake and then with the veg a nice broth to keep us warm on those cold winter nights. Thank goodness for my chest freezer!!!
My grass really needs cutting so I'm hoping (may be bit too optimistic ) that later this afternoon it will be dry enough to cut. ) that later this afternoon it will be dry enough to cut.
House is clean and tidyish down stairs apart from 2 cupboards but they will have to wait - might try to do bits as I go along. And def need to s&s bathroom.
Hope everyone has a lovely day and BIG (((HUGS))) to all those who want/need them xxxJUST DO IT ONE BRICK AT A TIMEPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTSWeekly Budget: groceries£50/petrol£50/Unnecesary£15DEBT PAID = 58% (£4,212/£8216):T0

            Morning all,
Cranky and George, thinking of you today.
Snoozer, sorry to hear about your MIL-what a shock.
Well after waking me up before 7 for the whole of half term(when we could have had a lie in) I have had to wake dd at 7.30 this morning and I had to get up at 6.45 to get everything sorted-ggrrr!
Packed lunch is made. I got 2 for 1 vegetable stew packs from netto yesterday-99p, so am planning to make soup today. I shall be boiling and roasting my basics gammon-it was larger than usual so will put half in the freezer for next week once its cooled. Plan for tea is lamb chops out of the freezer with roasted vegs and brocoli and I shall get some chicken breasts out at the same time and cook them for tomorrows chicken and rice. We were going to have that yesterday but I didn't defrost them and we had a snack tea as lunch had been late after swimming.
I am hoping to do my exercise video today-hoping that if I tell you I might just actually do it!!!
 Hope everyone has a good day.July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.

            Good Morning All
Very wet & horrible today. Cold is still lingering on - head feels like it will explode this morning.
Had our big meeting with our clients yesterday - went OK. Our mentor was most unhappy with the ways things are being run though he was very careful not to say too much about the Manager who was present. He telephoned last night & advised that we would see changes though some would take sometime. Have mixed feelings at the moment although the mentor did say we were right to get it out in the open. Anyway till will tell & that is a great big stress off of our shoulders.
OS wise to day probably not much sadly, because of half term and being ill for a couple of days I have so much office work to catch up on its untrue. Think will empty the dw & tidy the kitchen in a min, throw some washing in then get my head down in the office for a good few hours. Must menu plan today and do an online shop for tomorrow - that reminds me must also update the grocery challenge. OH is working days for the next 3 days so he wont be in my way which really does make a difference. which really does make a difference.
Anyway off now to dry my hair & drop DS to school. Catch up later.

            Morning All :hello:
Cranky and George - you are in my thoughts and prayers today.
Decided to get the earlier tram into work today and see if it was any better than the normal one - believe it or not it was actually worse! Saying that I did manage to get a seat this morning which helped a fair bit.
Well, big news folks - DH has been given the opportunity to apply for voluntary redundancy!! He's got 30 years service under his belt so would get a good payout but we obviously need to check out what would happen to his pension if he were to get redundancy (what with me being 18 years younger!) He's been so stressed out with work - he had 6 months off sick due to stress a few years back and I've been so worried that he was heading the same way again - and it was like all that had been lifted off his shoulders last night he was a different man! We're obviously going to explore his options in great detail as he ideally wants to start his own business and while some may say this isn't the best time to do it, others would say there's more millionaires made in a recession He may not even get it but I just want my hubby to have a job that he can do without driving himself into an early grave with worry. He may not even get it but I just want my hubby to have a job that he can do without driving himself into an early grave with worry.
Blimey that turned into an essay! OSiness today includes sewing loose buttons back on to my coats (think my boobs have grown again!) getting the bed clothes washed and making macaroni cheese for dinner (with enough L/o's for lunch tomorrow and enough white sauce to freeze of course - don't want you all to think you've taught me nowt!).
Have a lovely day, hugs to all in need or want

            Morning all
Flying visit from me this morning, as we're off for our Spanish themed event.
I've been trying to follow origami instructions this morning to make a boat, and the plan is for the children to make them so that we can sink the armada DDs have decided my boat looks like one of those hats they wear in a fast food place DDs have decided my boat looks like one of those hats they wear in a fast food place
We made our gazpacho yesterday and it's nice....................if you like onions :D Hopefully, no-one else will know what it tastes like so I can get away with it. It also shows I need an eye test if I think 1/2 an onion is the same as 2 onions :rotfl:I just didn't see the 1/ bit :rotfl:I just didn't see the 1/ bit
I've put some boneless chinese pork chops into the SC for when we get home. Not sure anyone will be hungry, as all the parents bring food to eat, but DD1 is quite fussy and may not want to eat what's on offer.
 Thinking of you today cranky.
Have a good day all and (((HUGS)))) to those who need one. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0
