Hi, has anyone got any advice please, a few years ago I stood up to my boss at work because I found out he was paying me less then my equals!! I !!!!ed him off so bad that he has been trying to get rid of me ever since.

He had tried to make me redundant in the past but backed down when I got on to ACAS.

He is trying it on again - the situation at the moment is this -

I work for this company from home 2 days a week and have been employed by them for 9 years as their employee. My job is updating their website and basically he is trying to get rid of me so he can give the job to his nephew who also works on the website.

He as asked me to do some other type of desk work so that he can make me redundant from that position.

I've told him that I am happy with the job I do thanks! and that he can't make me redundant and then give my job to someone else, so I'm not sure where he intends to go with this but he wants to see me next week as I am on his "at risk" list oooooohhh!! I'm really scared mr big fat bossy chops!!

Any advice please would be appreciated though Im not sure I need it as from where im standing the big fat loser hasn't got a big fat leg:rotfl: to stand on!!

    Interesting first post!

No professional advice here sorry but you obviously have it in for him. I suggest taking a step back and seeing how things go.

Does the job of updating the company website take two days work every week, throughout the year? How many hours do you work on maintaining the website each week?

Your boss may well have some evidence (from his nephew who also works on the website) that the tasks do not occupy that number of hours. It's possible that your boss believes that he can have the website maintained better, in less hours and for less money if he out-sourced it to a specialist company.

No-one knows whether you are providing good value for money except you. Hopefully, you have got some meticulous records of how you work and how you add value to the company.

    You may need them.

Or he could just employ his nephew on the other desk work, then make your job redundant, and then combine 99.9% of the duties from the redundant post with the other desk work. Different job, so no problem with acas for him.
Mind you, he could just do a H&S on your workplace, ie home, and then decide you have to work from the office, probably 10 seconds after you call him a fat loser.

From your post I would suggest to your boss that he move you higher up his "at risk" list

^^ No need to resort to insults.

If the employer wishes to re-organise the business so that it runs more effectively and profitable then that is fine.
As long as proper procedures are followed then that doesn't make them an "ignorant mickey mouse pratt"

I assume as you work from home your package includes some sort of internet access? Lets hope they dont monitor eh? Otherwise redundancy could be the least of your problems.
