Blackberry or Iphone

I prefer the iPhone. I love my one and wouldn't swap it for a Blackberry.
However, the "best" one for you isn't the one I like or anyone else here likes, it's the one that meets your needs the best and which you feel comfortable using.
Sorry, that's a bit of a boring answer I guess, but I'm fairly confident that its also an accurate one.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
I cant give you an opinion on the blackberry as I dont have one, nor do I know anyone with one however... iPhone... fantastic, worse part about the iPhone is the camera, best part... is everything else. Its just amazing.. best phone I have ever owned & dont regret buying it whatsoever. even though it did cost me £440 from Apple.0

Blackberry market share is diminishing while iPhone's market share is growing.
Though both have a proprientary system, iPhone commmunity support is better.
Blackberry looks like got a phone from office, iPhone proves you are trendy.
Why not look for Symbian phones [eg Nokia 5800] ? They are cheaper and more capable than either BB or iPhone. But on other side, Symbian phones are more geeky and you need to fiddle with phone to get the best from them.
Also consider Android phones.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Thank you for your opinions. It definitely seems that the iPhone has the edge ..........0

Blackberry for me every time!! I've had the Blackberry Pearl 8100 now the 8900 Curve.
I do a lot of emailing and as it's push email it's delivered straight to my phone. To me the iPhone is just an iTouch to make phone calls with!!
Can't even forward texts on the iPhone. Even the cheapest Nokias can do this!!
And of course my Blackberry :rolleyes:0 -

To be fair, I think they're solving slightly different problems. Blaming the blackberry for being less "flexible" or having less apps than the iphone is like blaming your dog for not being a cat. It isn't a case of one is bad and the other is good, it's a case of what fits your needs better.
I'd agree with the suggestion to consider Android too, I'd also add the Palm Pre to the list.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

Except for the bit where you can forward texts on the iphone, you mean? I know the initial launch was lacking but they've fixed a lot of the odd things they left out, which is why I finally got one (how many years to add cut and paste? *tsk* Apple)
The iPhone also does push email by the way.
Of course if you do a lot of emailing and especially if you prefer a physical keyboard then the blackberry wins as this is where its strengths are.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

I don't think my iphone proves I'm trendy. I think it proves only that I purchased an iphone.
How about buying smartphones based on your needs instead of what you think it says about you? They are rather expensive as pure fashion statements if you ask me. I guess I'm just old fashioned...If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
