(((hugs))) natty - water can be hard to drink when you have a sore throat/swollen glands. Try something fizzy (soda water, lemonade, fizzy water) as it may be easier. Bread dipped in soup is probably easiest to eat.

You lot have been busy while I was out. I've been to the physio, had the brake bits replaced on the car and decided to work from home for the rest of the day. Did some reading while waiting at the garage. When I came home I hung the bedding on the line (I decided to make the most of the weather seeing as I'm at home today).

Just need to sort out some lunch, and hopefully get my house insurance and a couple of other things sorted before my 2.30 work call...

    [STRIKE]12 till 1 : 60 in 60 [/STRIKE] completed

I'm rearranging our bedroom so I can have my old dressing table back and DD can have some billy bookcases from I**a. This has meant moving the bed under which I found:

    - the dog crate (folded up)
    - the parcel shelf from the car
    - a suitcase
    - a roll for pilartes
    - two dumbbells
    - a box full of congratulations cards from when I had the children (8 and 10!!!)
    - 4 candle holders that have never been fixed to the wall and I don't like them now!!
    - rubbish
    - a candle making kit in a giant box that i've now put in a small plastic box (it was all packaging)
    - the case for my camera (been looking for that for months!!)
    - an under the bed storage box that was empty

Dusty - you'll be pleased to know there were no more doors under there!!!

Right, next 60 in 60 coming up xx

  • Oh, poor you Holly! I hate it when the water gets cut off. Do you have enough left in your kettle for a cuppa?

In my HHC I managed to hoover round the dining room and get all the food off the chairs and carpet. Are all teenage boys this messy????????

I then cleaned the downstairs loo because (a) it is next door and (b) the boys used the sink to wash their hands after they had finished doing the bonfire...:eek::eek:

Still got the kitchen to finish. Must eat, then do one last fling...

... that turned into 45mins...... I clean the bathroom completely:j hovered the porch, hallway and living room. I emptied the hover and put it away. Put some stuff away that was on the stairs from this mornings dining room and kitchen clean.

I think I deserve a coffee now so I'm off to make one in my clean kettle :j - I can hear the bin men so I need to get it in before someone goes walkies with it (bin wars here - it's unbelievable and yet if it gets stolen it's 30 quid for a replacement:mad: which I've paid before and vowed never to again).

I think on bathroom day I will tackle the garden also front rooms done so I may also do it that day as well.

Going to do the master bedroom this afternoon but I better dash to go get my bin....

rose we can call you hosepink if you want;)

Bit late finishing the HHC with Rosepink - I inventoried the 2 Kitchen Freezers and re-wrote the lists for them, hands are cold now.

Just tried to print the lists off but the bloomin printer is playing up - it just keeps trying to grab a corner of the paper so the paper goes in at an angle and then keeps jamming - anyone got any ideas?? I've looked but theres nothing fallen in it and I know nothing about these things Grrrrrrrrrrr
