Just learned that humzingers are fruit bars. The ones we get are bigger and cheaper. I'll try to find out the name for you. (I get them wholesale and we've run out.)

We have thes too (forgot about them in my list), they tend to be a quick, non messy fix after swimming!

My little girl loves the yoghurt covered fruit. She likes the strawberry, raspberry and raisins. She thinks they are like sweets. I buy the individual packets but I think places like Julian Graves sell a big pack that you could make portions out of.

What is in them that you think isn't okay? It's dried fruit, sugar and vegetable oil. I admit, the 100% fruit ones are better, but I think they're a good snack.

  • Many of these snacks seem high in sugar. Dried fruit, for example, is terrible for the teeth. Are there any tooth friendly alternatives?

They just don't look right: the extra sugar makes them into some kind of long fruit sweetie chew.

DS has them as I say, i'm just not convinced they are as healthy as their packaging would like us to believe.

Do let us know what the other fruit ones are called.
