I thought to myself how strange it is that everyone on this thread has an OH/DH!!! smiley-confused002.gif smiley-laughing010.gif

But maybe there's a single lurker out there with her turkey baster;)

OMG that made me laugh out LOUD!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

My DH has been reading bits of this today as I have been talking about my ladies. He asked if it helped or made me worse. I said it helped to know that it wasn't just me that I had you all there in virtual world & some on FB...If anyone wants to make me a FB friend PM me no probs.

Got the house to myself! so have moved all the furniture in the bedroom around! Well for today anyway! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oi. Leave my turkey baster alone :rotfl:Thinking about it, maybe I should have bought one. It's quieter than OH and very MSE :money: as I wont have to feed it or provide it with snacks.

wow do any of you do any work! How many pages to catch up on! Glad to see we've taken a better mood on though.
On ages I'm with the oldies too I'm afraid at the grand age of 36, TTC number 1 and also with the cradle snatchers on having DH that is 31!
I hope things went ok today Cat and am thinking of you.
I'm feeling quite upbeat tonight which is strange as on CD13 still low on CBFM and off to my brothers on thirsday until sunday obviously when I'll ov!
No I've actually just had my first ever reflexology treatment and wow! I think it has given me renewed hope! We've been TTC for 2 and a half years and because of the pituitary tumour I've put the blame on me for our lack of achievement! However the reflexologist advised I am in perfect working order! Said due to ov on thirsday! and has primed a release of more than 1 egg to help chances! (she did advise this could rsult in twins! Bring it on was my response!) Of course she hasn't met my DH or done reflexology on him so he could be the problem! If his feet weren't so manky (where's the vomit smiley when you need it!) I would book him in for a session as she said she could prime his testes!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And for any sceptics out there whilst she was doing the treatment she stopped and asked what was wrong with my right knee, I had completely forgotten that I hurt it years ago falling down the stairs and only remember it now when it acts up if I've done alot of steps or steep steps! It flipping hurts now though!

    Hi Tinks,

How are you? Hope you're feeling better this week :)

What CD are you on? Have you started your OPK yet? I started a day early cos I was too impatient lol. I've used 4 out of my 7 sticks, so have 3 left over if I need to use them next month, which I hope I don't!!

I've just looked out of my window at work, and seen 3 magpies on the opposite roof. You know the rhyme, 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl.......could it be a sign????????? :rotfl:

    I know...... I'm going crazy :o

    Hi Sam

CD5 for me op starts from Friday....My kit is 20 sticks so u test each day to pin point exactly when u OV.

Lets hope the magpies are correct X :A

Glad to see so many upbeat people on here today! It took me ages to catch up with all the chat!

Oh I am so on edge! After a bit of spotting late on sunday there has been no more. Lots of cramping (which I never get). Worried now incase AF appears. I have ordered two testing kits so I really want them to arrive as they will let me know early.

Hugs to all that need them!

    Fingers crossed Rummer.

I think I need a new forum. I don't have anything to contribute these days and I'm feeling left out of the loop. I just don't know where I'd go...

I'm 40 as well. I have a 16 yo DD from my marriage. My lovely toyboy OH is 32 and this will (hopefully) be his first. So I think I get the prize for the biggest age gap :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Becs - no sceptics in this house. My cousin who is severely brain damaged goes to see the foot lady as we call her (his speech is very limited). He finds it v relaxing, but wont let her touch the part on his foot that relates to his stomach, where he has loads of problems. There's no way he could tell her that and he has so many problems, its not the first thing you would guess!

Still waiting on the old witch. I bet she turns up on Thursday. Cow!

  • I feel a bit like that sometimes Twinklie, like I have nothing to say. But I pop up every now & then, and I do enjoy reading about what you've all been up to. I don't think anyone knows how I feel like you all do, and it's a comfort to know you're always here, so to speak :A

I like the sound of reflexology :T thanks for sharing your experience becs.

Tinkwings, I absolutely LOVE that you call us your ladies :rotfl:I am 36 too, ttc no. 2. My son is almost 8 so we'll have a big age gap as well. Last time we weren't trying for a baby, we'd only been seeing each other for a very short time so it took us both very much by surprise!! Hopefully we'll get to do it all again.

Hugs to all that need them xxxxxx
