Morning Fuzz. Last year I became a childminder - a great work from home job which fits in with my two. I really love working with kids and the paperwork etc to do with Ofsted is enough to keep my brain active! Would that be something you are interested in?
Funnily enough, thats something I've looked into already:) Would love to do it but DH isn't sure he'd want a bunch of kids running round our house*need rolley eyes smiley!* told him it's his own fault for buying cream carpets:eek: he went without me and came back with cream...god knows what he was thinking! I wanted laminate with under floor heating:mad:

Hi Tigtag, welcome to the gang and also thank you for the maternity pay stuff. Good to know.

Rach, Congratulations to you and OH, I think a BFP has lifted the mood.
Don't feel guilty for how early you conceived. We're so happy for you and hope to be not far behind in joining you. Best wishes for the next 8 months x

I've decided to post when I actually have something important to say...the novelty of posting has worn off. haha! I'm a right antisocial bint!
It's probably hormones but I feel rough, kind of sicky and well, a bit down.

Come on the rest of you!!! Let's have some more BFPs x

Sorry if I've missed any other important news, I'm only scanning the pages today, but I couldn't miss the big pink BFP :rotfl:

The witch got me :( Boooooooo!

Bit surprised at how short my cycles are if this month is average (never paid any attention to dates before). Only 24 days. No wonder I feel like I'm always buying sanitary stuff!

No worries about testing early rach :p I'm just made up that you got your BFP :jHell, I'll test every day next month if it helps me get one!! :rotfl:

I work from home fuzz. I essentially do an office job. I changed employers a couple of months ago and do exactly the same as before, where I had to go into an office every day, except now I just log into my email and the company database online. All the work is scanned in, so I work from that. The boss and a few more people in the team are in the office, so I can speak to them on the phone if I need to, but most things are dealt with via email.

I need to come off the testing list too :(

Congratulations RACH so pleased to see a BFP after all the naff replies over the past few days. Those of us who are still TTC will have a drink for you

News on my front. bleeding is still in flow but is steady with no obvious clots or tissue loss.I do think this will be the last of any hcg levels as skin is now recovering and mood is lifting, still getting the odd twinge or cramp but no where like i have been since mc. Police are not hopeful of catching anyone for smashing window so now waitin for it to be boarded up by HA.

Anyway i have plenty of PMA today with lots to go around any one want some come n grab it.

  • Morning all. I'll have some of your PMA please Stef :o Glad all your horridness (is that even a word?) seems to be coming to an end.

I'm so up & down at the moment I can't believe it! I feel like a madwoman. One minute I'm OK, then I'm feeling unbelievably heartbroken and in floods of tears. I know it's probably better for it all to happen "naturally" as it were, but the waiting is horrible :( I'm OK when OH & DS are here, so looking forward to the weekend when they're not at work/school.

Huge congrats on your BFP rach :T:T:j:j:T:T It is great to have some good news! Here's to many more  xxxx

Fuzz, I found the job through an ex-colleague who had moved on to the company I now work for - which probably isn't a lot of help really, is it? :o I think more companies are coming around to the idea of staff working from home. In my case, half the department are dotted around the country. Though, to be fair, other than me they are all self employed and invoice the company per case that they do.

I'm not sure how working from home with a baby in the house would work though, as I do need to be able to concentrate. But DH and I discussed money last night and I will have to go back to work if we have a baby, so I'd probably have to find a childminder so that I can actually get some work done.

Now that AF is here, the CB fertility monitor is looking very tempting..... GADGET!!!! :T

Let it out hun..it's normal:) Being alone means you've more time to think about things which is rubbish but will probably help in the long run:)

nope thats no help whatsoever:p I don't think I'd have a problem concentrating with a baby in the house, I already have to tolerate a cat that loves the arrow on screen and a DH and mates who scream and shout at consoles and have been ok so far doing freelance work:rotfl: Just unfortunate its not regular work!
