Do you have an empty pop bottle you can use as a substitute making sure you wrap it in towels to protect your skin?

Just spoke to my friend, she's signed off till Wednesday when she'll have another scan. So, she's debating on getting HOD to tell the rest of the department whats going on to stop them wondering.

I've been getting quizzed all week about her and whats wrong with her. And some of them came up with a really odd conclusion - they asked me if she was having IVF!!! I hope they feel cack when they find out why she's been off. I was really annoyed when they asked. I just laughed at them though and walked away shaking my head. There is no reason to think she's having IVF at all. It's much more likely she's go blooming IBS or something (which she does).

Some people are very insensitive and i often wonder how they come up with some of the reasons/gossip that travels around.

    Afternoon!!!

School cookery lessons - god, our cookery teacher was sooooo grumpy (and soooo fat :rotfl:), once I accidently dropped my friends pizza on the floor as i took it out the oven for her so I was told to make a whole new one, unfortunately I got the lump of cheese and the lump of butter mixed up so we put cheese in the pastry/bread type base thingy and tried to grate butter over the top....i've improved since then - promise!!!
Twinkle - hope your friend is okay and the gossips pipe down! Sorry to hear AF arrived (eat chocolate, drink tea, and hide under the duvet....:grouphug:

I think AF is in the waiting room here...although QQuaver has given me a tiniest bit of hope

You don't think it could be implantation bleeding?
but i'd best not hold my breathe, however, it is very thick and very brown and not a lot of it - sorry if any of you are eating your lunch  but I didn;t have implantation bleeding last time so i don;t really know what it should look like...

Twiceasnice - knicker checking - thank you, you made me chuckle!!!

Fuzz, I'm also really really hot at night - and our heating isn't working - and i have to confess I dare to bare (TMI?!:o), but i;ve been sweating like a sweaty thing for the past few nights, and i;ve been having really ridiculous dreams...

Righty must stop this SS'ing and go and do something practical like...um....make a cuppa...anyone else want one?

    yes please kamperkat

I've been grumpy and upset today. I actually cried when starbucks was too full and dh didn't want to go!!! I imagine i'm just fed up what with my sore ankle and the weather! I'm sure stupidly testing this morning hasn't helped, I haven't even told DH as he told me not to test yet!

    :coffee: here y'go Rach...
I know how you feel, everything becomes irrationally frustrating, my wonderful OH didn;t turn the hot water on for me this morning so I had to wait for it too warm up as i really needed to wash my hair before i went to work....i could feel my self getting really uptight and emotional....(it didn;t help the AF signs were evident)
    Breathe, count to 10.....(eat chocolate)
Now, no more testing until Wednesday, give any poas or PIAG to your OH!!!

Aw, Hope not, Jenni...IYKWIM. I hope we'll be on the pg thread by July like Fuz said.
Hmmm, I'd be very interested to find out your test results this month...all those symptoms and now the fainting!!!

Hope Penny, Ellie and Twinklie are getting some TLC and hello and babydust to everyone else.

I'm officially in 2ww, only bding the once, 1 day before OV.
Having some nasty headaches though and not looking forward to this af (like I ever do?) as first since the mc, bound to be heavy. Gah!

ladylegs - speaking from personal experience my first AF after my mc wasn't too bad physically, as it was a lot less painful than the mc - actually thinking about it I haven;t had a painful AF since and no real AF symptoms (although apparently i still get very grumpy:rotfl:)
...and it was me with the name Heathcliff....thank you for liking :T - I thought I was being a bit Wuthering Heights!!
