Im back after a detour of Sainsburys (well i had to pick up script). Dr said he is a little concerned as sounds like right ovary playing up. Plied me with 100 cocodamol to see me through the weekend - ok i suppose a lil beyond that too, and said if i have any pain no matter how intense or there but not bothering me so much and any associated bleeding by tues i am to go back to see him and he will refer me over for another scan to be on the safe side, other prescription for sofa, laptop, takeaway and hubby on demand for tea supplies. Can only see my dr tho if he is back from Wales cos as soon as he has finished tonights surgery is going to see his dad who is also ill but cos of his condition may not be back for next week and will be cancelling all his apps if he does but i am to stress to the whinge bags on reception he said im a priority for app with another gp in his absence. The receptionists fear him hahaha.
Ellie glad to hear you are ok, remember to take it easy though as tomorrow you will feel like pants as the aneasthetic wears off.
To everyone else thanks for the concern.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

Evening ladies...
Elliebobs - hope you're feeling better soon :grouphug: - defo don't try and do anything for at least a week, after mine I desperately wanted to feel 'normal' again and did far too much and ended up off work for another fortnight.
nunnygirl - great foody bargains - I find food tastes so much better if i haven;t paid much for it :rotfl:(and obviously has no calories....)
Talking about baby names - we came to a bit of a stand off last year when we were decding on names, for a boy I want to use my mums family name of "Heath" as a middle name, and my OH wants to use his late granddads name "Cliff" um....so we might end up with Heathcliff.... (although I secretly quite like it!)
I have a horrible feeling AF is coming to get me, I am due on tomoro, but since yesterday morning i have had brown urk, but only when i wipe (TMI?!), she doens;t normally introduce herself over the days before though she normally just arrives with all her luggage....
Am a little bit (lot bit actually) gutted as i really thought we had DTD enough over xmas and newyear, maybe my OH's swimmers were pished - i know he mostly was :rotfl:...but don't take me off the list yet confuzzled as i still have everything crossed...quiet literally!
Anyhoo, must go and look at the kitchen and decide what to have for dinner...chocolate is a well balanced meal if you have it with a cup of tea isn't it?

well hello there everyone :hello:, been trying to catch up on all the goss but as always there's loads to read, am still at work waiting for my time point to finish on my experiment before I can go home but with no-one about I can catch up here without anyone looking over my shoulder :whistle:Just a quick post as back form hospital now after having D and C. The procedure went ok, had a bit of a reaction to the anaesthetic afterwards whereby my pulse and blood pressure dropped very low so set off all manner of alarms and caused the nurse to say the sh*t word:eek:. They managed to set the oxygen up to max (no. 11 for all spinal tap fans!) and set me up on a drip to stabalise the situation.
Recovered now though and back at home feeling dandy. So hopefully the bleeding will stop in a week and then I just need to wait for AF to show up and then I'm back:j:j
QUOTE]
glad you're feeling ok elliebobs. your reaction to the anaesthetic sounds almost exactly like mine, the nurse stood next to me for what seemed like five minutes but was about 30 -40 min and she kept telling me to breathe, I was away with the fairies and kept forgetting to breathe in the oxygen. I had pain for a few days afterwards - was walkign around bent over for 3/4 days - but religiously took my paracetamol and ibruprofen every 4 hours which did help. the bleeding lasted for about 1-2 weeks after but the first few days was extremely heavy (could actually feel it flowing out of me and kept flooding my pads - TMI??)
don't want to say all this to freak you out but more to re-assure you that if this does happen to you not to worry, I wasn't sure what to expect after and whether what I was feeling was normal or not, they didn't give me any aftercare info after my D&C. but obviously if you are really concerned with any pains/bleeding then contact your doc
sending you big hugs xx0 -
never included a quote in my post before, doesn't seemed to have worked0

Stef hope it does the trick and no more hospitals needed.
I am feeling very down again started bleeding again bright red blood. I hate going to the toilet and seeing it. I felt so much better today as it had stopped. Life is so cruel sometimes.0 -
sorry for the multiple posts, trying to remember what I've read. BTW, I'm not purposefully ignoring some of the chats its just that I tend to catch up by reading the subscription email the following day at work, by which time most of the chat has moved on and I don't always think that I have anything new or particularly interesting to add
but I did want to respond to billybobberyl 's post. I know it was a couple of days back but wanted to say I totally understand. after my first m/c I immediately wanted to get back on the horse (so to speak) and ttc immediately but after the 2nd one although I desperatly wanted to ttc I also realised that I should wait until I felt more emotionally ready as I too was absolutely terrified of losing another one. we were also waiting for some test results but since finding out that I have to wait until May for some treatment we have decided to give it another try in the meantime. I'm still scared about losing another one but I also feel ready to try again since my last m/c was in August. I know if I did get that bfp my stress levels would sky rocket but my family and my best friend have told me that I have to get lots of pampering in the first few weeks to keep me calm - maybe I'll, try reflexology or acupuncture. if you feel ready to try again then do but you also have to make sure that you are prepared for the worst (not that I'm saying its going to happen)
sorry to have rambled on, I'm not sure if that has helped or not
well I have lot and lots of PMA, it must be catching :rotfl:
confuzzled could you put me on the testing list for 7th Feb, ta very much
hugs and sticky bean vibes to all
xx0 -
confuzzled I was down for testing on 15th Feb and now I'm not.
Do you know something I don't know about me not BDing at all next month??!!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Disgusted with myself now as we ordered chinese and i cant manage it - not even had half of it so kids sat at table with 'seconds'. Hubby has built up my unit http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40121547 so im going to have a play around with it in abit and get my clutter put away. Intended use is the kitchen as a more modern style welsh cabinet type of storage unit. Only cos i cant get any normal cupboards up in this naff house. But me thinks a cuppa tea and some cocodamol is needed first.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
