  • Yah - I'm on the list, I'm honoured to be part of the gang!

So much to catch up on so forgive me for missing some info but:

Jacobsmum - congrats on BFP, excellent news, don't give up hope.

Skintscotslass - yippee, fellow manchester lass!

I'm on CD3 now and AF is wearing off. Still planning on getting into docs tomorrow to see about these pains but my Mum wants me to pick a prescription up for her too which won't be ready til after 4!.
My docs is a nightmare, to get seen you have to be there queing up when they open at 8.30am or try ringing (always engaged). Once in you can sit and wait or try and get an appt for later on and come back - useless, and I work for the NHS!!!!!!
  • also, can someone explain what SS and POAS are? I can't find them here:

    SS = Symptom Spotting

POAS = Pee On A Stick

TLP = Tiny Little Positive(faint line on test, not quite a BFP)

    HTH x

Lol, sorry Dusty, I think you read my post too quickly. I said I was flying from Manchester. I actually live near Edinburgh and OH lives in Liverpool. So we tend to fly from the North West when we go on holiday as you get a better choice. Having said that, we've always flown from Liverpool before, this is our first time from Manchester. We go to the Trafford Centre regularly, but I've only been to the City Centre once. It was the day Gary Neville got married (not that I was stalking him intentionally!!!)

Congratulations jacobsmum xx :T:j:T:j:T Fingers crossed it all goes well for you.

Right, time to crack on with the packing :D:cool:
  • Feeling really sorry for myself this morning

Went to asda last night shopping and stupidly bought two preg tests (only £4 so not a lot wasted) Spent last night dreaming about having a poss test so stupidly got up and POAS - BFN - Gutted :(

Af due today, not arrived yet but tummy is starting to ache so doubt she'll be long - Not gonna be the best person to be around today!!!!

Bigs hugs to those that want them

Congrats on the BFP Jacobsmum Fingers crossed for you xx

Sticky baby dust to all (and hurry up and get here vibes if you are coming to AF :rotfl:Witch!!!! lol)
  • ((HUGS)) GTS

I was a bit like that this month, having convinced myself last weekend I was pg. I am kind of glad though that AF has arrived so I can move on and think about what I need to do this month.
  • Thanks Gravesendgirl - Was thinking a bit too idealistic this month - Going away to a holiday camp with a group in Oct and was thinking yay will have a little bubs to come with me (stupid i know thats what led me to the downfall) and if I do get my BFP next month it means I wont be able to go as thats when i'd be due (ov caluculator on baby centre is a great tool ha ha ) so not sure if we will ttc next month after AF arrives, knowing my luck thats when id get it ha ha

Me and huby have decided that if AF does arrive we will book a nice hol for our anniversary in May and see what happens between now and then so cheering myself up looking at hot locations

Cup of tea and malteasers time i think :D
  • Snap!

I had planned out the whole rest of the year in my head. Me and OH are off to South Africa in March so am in two minds about this month really. Would rather not have to go there when only a few weeks pg as we are visiting a friend with whom I am known to enjoy a couple of glasses (OK perhaps bottles:rotfl:) of wine and she (and others out there) would never believe me not drinking on holiday!

When people say "I just knew I was pregnant", do you think they really felt any different?

Personally I think they were prob the same as us each month, but one time they were right. Or people who get pregnant straight away think that their heightened sense of awareness was actually pg symptoms.

That is the one thing that people say to me that annoys me. "You'll just know. When you are pregnant you will just know". NO I BLEEPING WON'T grrrrr

The only reason I knew was because I didn't get any of my usual pre-af symptoms (mainly spotting for about 4 days before!). Apart from that, I knew nothing! Then a day or two after I'd done my test, I started getting upset stomachs every time I ate cheese! (Sadly I still have this problem now during TOTM).

    Hi Ladies

    Fingerscrossed jacobsmum :)

You all sound very happy and lots of PMA and SS :)

I am a bit cheesed off my bleeding and spotting for my MC started on 30th Dec, 3weeks and 1 day away and I am stil spotting now. I just want it to stop as while I am trying to get on with life and things every time I go to the toilet the reminder is there.

    Good luck everyone :)

I had spotting for about 1 week before the ERPC and then for about 2 weeks afterwards, so I don't think you're experiencing anything too far out of the ordinary! I do know how frustrating it is though waiting for it to stop.

By the way, has your package arrived yet?? I think there are quite a lot of delays in places due to the bad weather. I received a package yesterday that was datestamped 7th!

Even though you may not have too much snow, the areas where the mail comes into might (e.g. our roads are fairly clear, but the mail comes from Swindon, so we've had some delays).

You do hear nearly every woman say "they just knew" then 2 weeks later say they don't feel pg and can't believe they are!

Lemon where abouts are you in " East Angular" as poor old Jade called it! I'm near Peterborough on the cambridgeshire/northamptonshire border.

Bec's i'm near Ipswich, have to admit i had to delete the East Angles as i sometimes call it, just in case and put the proper name. :)
