Secondary IT - but at the mo you name it im teaching it - have been quite lucky with schools and stuff at the mo but teaching subjects i dont have a clue about is kinda hard.
Weve always lived apart just going to be a case of one of us finding a job by the other (and i have a feeling it will be me moving he has the better job and better career there really)
I blame mine for being rubbish - im now slowly realising that the chances of us actually concieving is lower than most seeing as we live apart and the actual time frame of being fertile at the same end of the country and being successful is slim to none
have something from the freezer i dont like shepherds pie :S i like all the bits in a shepherds pie but dont like them together in that combination - i am a loser freakCould you be my sunshine on a cloudy day?
Could you be my yellow when im feeling grey?0 -

Hey Michelle what your LP atm?!
Hi,
It was 6 days last cycle, 2  before that, and 4 the cycle before that. So 6 is really good for me!!!0 -
WOW many congrats Merfe and Sir Monster. :j
I was feeling very hopeful logged on here and saw the good news so stupidly i thought i would test a week early and not even with fmu .
Now before everyone shouts i have been having lower back pain and pain in lower abdomen and boobs are bigger and nipples v sensitive.
But bfn for me i know i am not out of the game yet but am p'eed off with myself for testing so early and putting myself in a bad mood .
Wrong season but bah humbug!
So Fuzz please can you change my testing date to 20th Jan as def want to be 100% late before i waste another test.
Oh just thought where do you get your hpt's from? I usually use Access Diagnostice but wondered if there was anywhere cheaper.
Hugs to all, hope your moood is better than mine

oh i have a question
- is there a list somewhere of symptoms that you may experience in the 2 week wait if you are in fact el bunno in oveno???
*using my trusty phone calender and some quick period maths theres a possibility we might have been at the same end of the country at roughly the right time :O
so now im wondering if there is a list and trying to remember how i normally feel around this time of the monthly cycle (cant be that hard to remember surely was a month ago)
Could you be my sunshine on a cloudy day?
Could you be my yellow when im feeling grey?0 -
Hi and welcome notmyusualname (think you are going to me nmun!) don't worry you are not a fraud for posting here! Officially me and OH are just not using contraception and waiting to see what happens....but that's very hard for me! If you're not already, you should start taking folic acid as soon as possible (the recommendation is 3 months before you start trying).
twinklie that's pants that you OH is off skiing. At least it might help you resist testing early (?).
TwiceasNice, try not to be down on yourself for testing early, sometimes the urge is just too great!
gratefulforhelp, booooo for the BPN and no AF. My worst so far was 6 days late, even OH was beginning to think it could be, then AF turned up grrrrr. Hopefully your outcome will be different...
As for me, well I am being a bit silly. Boobs got big and sore before AF as usual, but oddly have not gone back to normal. I've been feeling dizzy and sick today and tummy has been very dodgy all day. I got my BBT out the other day to see if temp was still high, but it seemed quite low. Decided to do an OV test today knowing that they come out +ive if you're pg (is that right?), and there was nothing at all. Hmmmm I wonder if I'm convinced yet LOL!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
welcome notmyusualname I'm still new to this myself but all the books I've read say be careful about assuming you ov at the middle of the cycle....my friend did this, got obsessed with day 14 and didn't conceive til she realised she was out with her calculations (obviously for some people there are loads more reasons than that and none of us can take for granted conceiving!
And my best mate told me on the phone last night she conceived basically first month both times, she wasn't monitoring temp etc - I managed to restrain myself from stamping my feet and saying *NOT FAIR*
Real life example from me is usually 26-29 day cycle, last month ovd day 17, this month day13
However FF is saying I have conflicting fertility signs as had ewcm after ov showed by temp...may be the pre-seed i'm thinking!
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2b89c5 is my chart if anyone's interested!
Anyway, am off for a birthday curryBack onto ww tomorrow!

Welcome to the newbies.
Michelle lp is very short, have you seen your gp about it? Have you tried vitamin b6. I take 100mg a day and last month my lp increased by 3 days.
Nottmyusualname basically if you think about any symptoms you get before af, cramps, moodiness, cravings, sore boobs etc then they are also pg symptoms! Mother nature is mighty cruel! Someone once said on here I think that when you're pg you should turn yellow or something so we all knew for sure! :rotfl:0 -

Hmmmm, well there's loads of sites which I've have googled loads of times when I'm being bad, but I don't have any links saved.
The problem is that pg symptoms are very similar to AF symptoms, so symptom spotting ("ss") can be misleading. Also once you are TTC you tend to notice everything more so all of a sudden you have loads of symptoms.
Generally we try to discourage ss on here as it can't really tell you much but can build up your hopes only for them to be crushed month after month.
However, since you asked, the ones that come to mind are;
- sore boobs
- nausea
- tiredness
- needing a wee more
- nipples darkening
I always have most of these in the week before AF anyway.Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
I've been very constipated this last week (don't I paint a pretty picture). I've been getting dizzy in the shower as well, which is not normal for me. However, despite how promising it all sounds. I have just gone back to school...which normally coincides with my body going mental!! And here it is again!
Still, I've decided to make my shepherds pie because I can't stand the thought of throwing out gone off mince...and my potatoes were about to go horrible.
However, since you asked, the ones that come to mind are;

- nausea
- tiredness I also have this
- needing a wee more I have this
- nipples darkening I'll have a look later! :rotfl:

I still think it's all linked into the weather and going back to work though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
