hi cd10 here and yet another +itive opk is this a good thing (3 in a row) or does it mean i have not ov'd yet? tia
xx
heres the quote .......4. What if my OPK is positive for several days in a row? It is possible, in a normal ovulation, to have a positive OPK for several days in a row. This is because LH peaks (surges) about 12-36 hours before ovulation occurs, and then dissipates. So, you could theoretically detect this high level of LH with positive OPK's from the time it begins to the time it dissipates-- over 36 hours.
It is also possible that your body is "gearing up" to ovulate, and you have an LH surge-- and then, for some reason (such as stress, illness, travel, or random fluke), your body fails to release an egg . . . then tries, tries again ASAP with another, or overlapping, surge. If you see a positive OPK for longer than 3 consecutive days, your egg is probably just having a little trouble getting out of the starting gate. If this happens to you occasionally, it's no big deal. If it happens a lot, talk to your doctor. (I just play one on the Internet)

lol I have had a cold and i thought it was going but its still here so could be that.
Lol, made me giggle too.
Moneysaver, one temp shift up doesn't necessarily mean you're OV. Don't forget, FF can only tell you once you've recorded (I think it's) 3 temp rises so you'll only know AFTER it's happened. If your temp continues to rise tomorrow then I would think OV is immenent, but it doesn't look anything to worry about right now. Are you checking CM as well? (i'm such a hypocrite asking that, cos I never do lol)
Will have a propper look tonight.

I checked it yesterday and it was white and stickyMarried 09/09/090 -

If the temp drops tomorrow, then it was probably nothing, but at CD13, it's best to DTD as much as possible anyway:cool:0 -

Okay after a little break over christmas and new year we have decided to ttc....
our basic plan at the mo is basically not doing anything to prevent getting pregnant?
theres no rush really and I feel very childish even posting this as I know from lurking that there are couples on here who are doing all they can to.
So yeh this message makes no sense but from having a late period and a slight wobble over the potential outcomes weves decided to try??
will probably delete this coz i feel a fraud but wanted to put it somewhere
sorryCould you be my sunshine on a cloudy day?
Could you be my yellow when im feeling grey?0 -
