There is 9 1/4 years between my DD1 & DD2
If I fall on as soon as we start ttc then there will be 8.5 years between DD2 and a new addition and almost 18 years between DD1 and a new addition!!

We are planning to TTC in around 3 months - I currently have a mirena coil. When should I start taking folic acid - does this have to be prescribed?

I had trouble with constant bleeding after removal of one of these, and was not having a natural AF. I would give yourself a little time for your fertility to return to normal?Metranil_Vavin wrote: »Tigtag I am taking Pregnacare Plus, you can get it in any Boots. It has 2 seperate supplements, one a multi vit with folic acid and the other an omega 3 fish oil supplement.
You can start taking them from ttc time to right through breast feeding.
Am taking these also, and did with DD2It's recommended that you take FA because it helps the spine develop properly. For myself, I don't think there's a price you can put on health and I take loads of vits to give me all the help I can get. I had my DS when I was 21 (I'm now 33) and even at that young age I was beyond exhausted by the end of it. I have no concept of how I will manage holding down a full time job, looking after said DS and being a decade older! If taking extra vitamins even helps a tiny bit they will be worth it.
Sorry, bit off topic there!
Its a natural worry, but you will be fine. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Morning girls. AF showed over night and it hurts
I'm ok though as realised I have enough work at home to keep me occupied so I can work in jogging bottoms with a hot water bottleProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Sorry to hear about those of you who have MCd. It's all very exciting for me at the moment but I'm sure if/when I get a bfp I'm going to be a nervous wreck having read about all the things that can go wrong. Ignorance was indeed bliss...
In my case, I can't talk about my mc in RL since not many know about it, so I write it here:pLast pregnancy I saw the heartbeat at 7wk5 then a week later at the next scan there was no heartbeat. I am just not going to be reassured again until I have reached the 12 week scan, need a BFP first though.
Mum had mc at 6 month tho:shocked:Lemon_Tree wrote: »thanks for all your kind welcomes. i just wish AF would arrive for the first time so that i can start on the TTC road. Never wanted AF to arrive ever before, probably cos she stayed for 10mths the last timeMy mum also thinks early scans are very unhealthy for bean and even though there's no current medical research to support this she tends to be right0 -
Morning
Bigbird I was completely ignorant when I had my first and it was bliss for about 3 months. I really hadnt expected the things that can go wrong in pregnancy. My first pregnancy was a real eye opener but worth it in the end. Luckily the second went alot smoother.
Quaver I am ignoring anyone who talks about late MC because I just dont know how I'd cope with that shhhh. I have a friend who lost their 15 month old to cot death just before my last mc and all I could think was if I was gonna lose the baby I'd rather at 8 weeks then later on. I know what you mean about being able to talk on here easier than RL, everyone knows about mine but I cannot help thinking they all think I should be over it by now. With my first MC I talked alot to my mum, she has been there and it helped alot. Docs not concerned by 2 MC but the thing is I dont think I will try again if we have 3 in a row.
Maddie sorry AF showed up.
I still have no signs of either AF or any symptoms - so tempted to early test0 -
