My new years party ended up me watching tv till 11.45pm then I went to bed and read my book till 1am! Bliss!
DH rolled in at 5am and is still in bed despite the 3 cups of tea I have now brought him to get him out of bed! I'm full of a cold and miserable. Going to DH's folks later for a NYD get together with inlaws, brother and sis inlaw plus baby and sis inlaws mum, sister and boyfriend. Could get interesting....I'm just not sure in a good way. :rolleyes:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

great news Penny;as always, things crossed here in abundance!
Sammy; sorry about your job; let's hope you get what you're owed and I wouldn't have done any work either after hearing the news. What field do you work in??? Can you get another job quickly or do you actually fancy a complete change? This might be a blessing in disguise.
I'm really lucky in that my job is 100% secure; the downside is that the pay, comparitive to te public sector, is rubbish but it's all swings and roundabouts isn't it?
My NYE was a bit pant's; really cba to go out and can't drink anyway as on the antibiotics and couldn't hack the possible questions that would have arisen from the non drinking so just stayed in and watched Love Actually!
Off to in laws today for late lunch and then hopefully home in time for Gavin and Stacey!
Am back at work on the 4th after 6 weeks off and I actually can't wait; going demented at home; am actually having conversations with the cat. She doesn't reply though, the ignorant cow! (unless prawns are brought into the equation; doesn't bloody shut up then)0 -
Great news Penny!:j:j:j
