Thanks Quaver. Wouldn't it be great if we got a BFP right at the start of the New Year?? I'm actually feeling really positive this month - so fingers crossed!

What day are you planning on testing? I'm really determined to wait until 5th Jan - I don't want to test before cos I did that last month

Hi everyone, Af was due yesterday on day 29 of cycle was getting cramping pains yesterday, not too bad at first then they got more painful. Got back ache too. Today Af is still not here not really getting any cramping now. don't know whats going on.

Well, despite not knowing whats going on, I think i'm going to POAS today. Just need to hold it for 4 hours first! A couple of guides have had a look on my chart over at FF (the joys of VIP membership!) and are agreed that they can't tell whether I OV'd on day 13 or 23. CD23 would give me a cycle of 37 days tho which i've never had before. Since I've charted they've varied between 25-28

Bearing in mind I usually OV on day 12 - AF should have been due yesterday/today and for the last few days I've had cramping and sore boobs as well as a tight/bloated feeling none of which I get before AF is due. Plus, my temp is still up. If I OV on CD13, then i'm now 15DPO, which should be plenty for testing.

If I get a BFN, I have no idea whats going on and will just wait till either AF comes or my testing day for OV'ing on D23 which would be 7th Jan.

Why is this not simple?

Just done a test and its a bfn, started getting cramps again and got back ache.

Ohhh we cross posted. Do what i'm doing hunny - POAS! I never get cramping before AF and mine sound smilar to yours in that they're coming and going and quite painful. I've had them since about Christmas day and they're getting worse. That wth the sore boobs & bloating (mine not yours lol) is making me wonder and I don't SS! (not this bad anyway)

Edited to add: Ah. We cross posted again. Did you hold your wee in for 4 hours tho and not drink much beforehand so it was concentrated?

Thanks everyone, trying to feel more positive today, had blood taken at 9am today I get result tomorrow at 10am so fingers crossed it carries on increases but hopefully a bigger increase.

Do you temp Moneysaver? That would indicate whether AF was on the way or not.

I am confused with my cycle, my last af started on 28 november, i thought that it would be 28 to 29 days long, as that is what its normally like. I thought if it was 29 days long it would be due yesterday, but when i count days again it looks like its day 31 now. Do i include the 28 as day one when af started. Only had a cycle of 31 days once before and that was in september.

No, i haven't. Which thermometer is best to get as think it would be a good idea to start.
