Congrats lauralou and portsmouth - the best Christmas present ever! Here's to a healthy and happy 8 months onwards. It's nice that you have each other to support you through.

Sorry to hear your news penny not sure about HGC levels as they don't seem to test for those at my doctors or hospital (not when I've been) but I would say don't give up as long as the levels are rising. I will keep everything crossed for you that it works out OK but if you need to talk I'm sure there will be lots of support for you here.

CD 13 for me but started with a cold on Christmas Eve so not sure what's happening with OV. Have tried really hard not to take any medication in case it messes with cycle but slipped on some ice yesterday and have twisted my back and it huuurts! Ouch - not good for BDing!!! How are you doing my cycle budd (ies)?

Penny saying prayers for you hun. Thankfully my second test gave the results they were looking for so I didn't have to go for a third, but cooks haven't they booked you for an early scan? Im going for mine on 5 Jan and you're at the same stage as I am. Even if your levels are low they should offer you a scan at 6 weeks-you still have time to increase. Have you been taking B-50 complex? May be worth starting now-it boost the progesterone which will in turn help boost the HCG. But definitely ask for a scan at 6 weeks-even if you have to go to the hospital manager.

Penny sorry to hear your levels are not going up as expected. My local hospital do not test for them either as far as I'm aware. Dont want to get your hopes up but I have read threads before with people who have not had the doubling of HCG that is expected but gone on to have healthy babies just slow growers in the beginning. Have you had a scan yet? I'm not sure how far along you are but I have my fingers crossed for you xx
