David Banns is excellent. Good choice! Oh yeah, the old town is medieval, so the new town is early Gorgian I think? lol, never really thought about what the term 'new town' would suggest to someone who didnt know the city. I'm so sorry the Travelodge wasnt great. That's terrible that it was dirty...oh dear I feel so bad for recommending it.

Gosh, so many fireworks round my way tonight. Fortunately, my dog isn't bothered by them, but next door's dog is goig crazy :rolleyes:. I hope you all got to see some lovely displays. I FINALLY chose the proofs for our wedding album - we got married 3 months ago :eek:

Morning all. Sir Monster - still thinking of you, hope you are doing ok (hugs).

I lay in bed for a while after waking up, then took my BBT, went to the loo, piac, came on the comp, and it was only just 8am! When I was younger I'd easily sleep past midday if nothing woke me up so its very odd waking up this early when I'm not at work, nice though!

I'm going to go try wake OH up now with the offer of a cuppa, then dip my stick. Will report back soon.
