    hello all

May I join the thread? I'm usually to be found with the flyladies on old style but I am now ttc.

A few bits about me, I'm 31 (almost 32), married almost 2 years, have pcos. I work full time and commute about 1h15 mins each way, which makes me rather tired! I'm a bit overweight but walk a lot and eat pretty healthily as I'm wheat intolerant.

This is our first month of ttc, and i'm not sure how this thread works. Despite pcos, since coming off the mini pill (cerazette, where i had no AF for over a year) I have had regular AFs, cycle 26 days (25 last month). Signs seemed to be that i'm ovulating with the mucus etc so my endocrinologist said he doesn't want to medicate me until we know if there's a prob getting pg. I've been tracking my temp this month but have realised i've been doing it wrong as was getting up and going into the kitchen to do it, so need to start taking it before I get out of bed. What I'm not really clear about is when fertile time is, but am just having lots of sex! Am also taking some folic acid and conception vits.

So any advice welcome, AF is due Christmas eve.

    Hey,

My biggest piece of advice would be not too test early. Wait until you are a few days late before you test.

Good luck , hopefully you arent here long xxx

  • Hi and welcome Rach:D Hopefully you're stay with us is a short one:D
You might find that the websites FF or MMC will help you determine when you OV..think FF is the better one if you're temping:)
Personally I determine OV by my CM and the quantity of it:o plus the added assistance of MMC(I love the bunnies lol) and when I think I'm nearing OV I also check my cervix(still new to that one though:))

You should ovulate about 14 days before your AF, so better start BDing every other day from now:D

Also you should get egg white cervical mucus around the time you are fertile ;)

Cheers .... I have the Skoda ..... I think Fabia is quite exotic though for a boy:rotfl:

Lurking and popping in to try and cheers myself up

Fabia is a girls name (at least I knew a couple of Brazilian ladies called Fabia!) - although that didn't stop Posh/Becks calling their boy Cruz!!

Not a lot to report here, CD15 - I am a bit confused though, I get really bad twinges on left or right side about a week after AF, so no idea if I'm oving incredibly early (is that possible?) or not at all (would think if it was this, then I wouldn't get af!). Cycles are fairly regular at 28/29 days, so not really sure what to think!

Not BD'd much this month so doubt very much that we've struck gold!
