Jen - Sending Huge Hugs to You xoxo
If you can think it........it will happen
  • Jenny so long as you feel ok then I wouldn't worry too much but remember to mention it when you do go for your next scan. Alternatively phone the gp's and see if you can speak to your doctor.

    Sending (((HUGORMAMA))) your way xxxxxxx

  • Hi jennyfleur - oh my, what a horrendous time you're having - big hugs from here.... More TMI alert.... Not sure if this helps or not, but during my mc in June, I finally passed what we assumed was the sac, and it was about 10-12cm long, about 5cm in diameter and cylindrical-ish in shape. Sort of pinky-grey colour. (I was about 12wks at this stage, so can't remember I'm afraid how far along you were, but if it was earlier than this, it might correspond to the slightly smaller dimensions you saw). They'd done a scan previously and thought there was nothing left, but according to the sonographer "it must have been hiding behind something" which is why it wasn't spotted on the scans.... Anyway, this explained the huge amount of bleeding I'd been having, as my body was presumably trying unsuccessfully to flush it out. Anyway, I guess the main thing I'm trying to say is that what you saw is bound to be related to the mc in some way or other, so it's probably best to try as hard as possible to put this latest experience into the same mental box as the rest of all your ghastly mc experiences, and not let it freak you out too much (easier said than done, I know). But it probably really is nothing (extra) to worry about. Talk to them on Thursday and ask as many questions as possible. I've got everything crossed for you that this really will mark the end of this all for you, and it's onwards and upwards from here. Thinking of you.

Big hugs to everyone else that needs them.
  • Thanks Astro, its just really scary as they went in with a camera and had a look around before they did the op, then went back in with the camera to make sure everything was gone? They even gave me some photos!!
So what this is, I'm just not sure?!
Thanks for all the hugs guys, especially the hugormama one! ;)

Don't worry will make sure I am in fightening form for BD!:D As the sad fact of the matter is No BD = No sticky Bean!:D

I LOL everytime i say that as DH (being a vet) has a story about a city guy who decided to get a sheep farm & thought he knew everything ! He got out a vet to scan his flock as he had worked out that they should all be in Lamb none of them were.....the vet then asked where the Ram (male sheep) was he said oh don't have one!!!!! These babies don't make themselves (more's the pitty sometimes:p:D:rolleyes:)

    Hugs :A xoxo

    Lol!

Reminds me of when I handed in DH's sample to the hospital, I apologise for there not being much there, and the guy said not to worry about it as a few days before a guy had been in and said he needed to hand in a sample, he then asked how to do the sample :rotfl:
