    Hello, not been on for ages, so congratulations SJ. Love the name name Alfie. Bubs won't be wearing a footy shirt, cos we're more into bikes, but there's some really cute baby biker stuff out there. I've seen one that says 'My daddy's a biker' and the pic even looks a bit like OH, deffo going to get it! I'm almost 19 weeks (on Monday) and I think I'm starting to feel something now. Sounds a weird description, but it's almost like a little balloon being inflated and deflated. I know it's not wind, cos I've been getting enough of that lately to tell the difference :o I'm so excited cos we've got the 20 week scan on the 22nd. OH (and everyone else) wants team yellow, but I'm sort of hoping for a flash. I want to know and then I change my mind and don't, cos I think the suspense will just be too much. I just call it 'Bob' for now though.

    EA - you really want Lily out then! Good find on the oils, way better price. Nice bump pic too :D

    Gisi - really didnt know about the eyesight, I plan on breast feeding too so maybe I'll have to either find my second pair of glasses or get some new ones, like kindof am for ever loosing them!

    Gill - am not into football and dont support anyone other than England so Man U is OHs choice.

    1more - Mmmm bread and butter pud :D Your nan must have been made up when you found her ring in there lol.

    gym - So pleased you love the name and would consider it, I havent met anyone has said they dont like it. We wanted something different but not odd and it totally fits. Eeek at 36f! tho sayin that am upto a 40E atm used to be 36DD. Gonna get measured for nursing bras on friday, if baby girl stays put! will be 38+1 then. Havent had Nandos for years me and OH keep saying we'll go tho.

    Kindof - Harvesters dont extend past Birmingham am afraid hence why you prob have no idea what they are! Me and OH used to have the pleasure of working for them so the novelty has worn off for us, but they do do some good food if you ever get a chance to try them. Yeay for pizza making :D

    Well as you may have noticed am still here and not out enjoying a meal! MIL phoned to say she wasnt feeling well and so she wouldnt be coming tonight, so OH said not to worry wouldnt be much of a family meal without her. She wants to go out next week but not sure if I'll be ok to go then, this week was gonna be a struggle as I feel so uncomfy, so gonna play it by ear. OH is a lil dissapointed as its his fave restaurant and we had very lil to eat saving our selves for yummy meal. So instead we ordered dominoes with our 50% off voucher and MIL said she'd pay as we prob wont get to go out now.

    GISI - Let me know how you get on with the nusring bra's please? :)

    Im getting measured at 38 weeks and going to get them, but if they fall apart in the wash or something i wont bother lol.

    Haha im so bored im starting to write out my eviction plan for baby!

    Also, does anyone know.. Can i mix drinking RLT with taking the tablets? So for example, instead of drinking 3 cups a day, maybe drink 2 cups and take 1 tablet?

    Im finding it hard to drink my 3 cups a day at the moment, i keep gagging as i get to the bottom of the cup and it puts me off my next one lol.

    From what i found, clary sage oil is meant to help bring on labour.
    Here's the google search - link

    Its really expensive in H&B though, so i ordered from ebay.

    Some people say it works, some say it doesn't. So i guess im willing to try it :)
    Clary Sage oil in bath;
    Use about 5-10 drops in bath.
    Clary Sage oil massaged into belly and lower back;
    Mix 2 drops of the clary sage to 10mls of the carrier oil (jojoba) and massage into lower back and bump, when massaging in it will start to feel warm, and thats when it has penetrated the skin.

    I wrote that (whats in quote) from what i've read, im using jojoba as my carrier/base oil for the massage :)
    But you can use any :) Some recommened using Sweet Almond oil, but OH has a nut allergy and i want him to do the massage haha/

    evening all....

    hope everyone has had nommy dinners... we had fish and chips, was really nice but somehow I managed to get all the scrappy chip bits with mine, usually not a problem but with my sporadic toothache, i dont want anything sharp digging inbetween my teeth or gums..... still was plenty of nice fat chunky chips :)

    Am craving chocolate though and we dont have any :( Just want a nice big bag of malteasers or something...... yummy......
