  • thanks, i'm glad i'm not the only one who still feels like pap. CAFC that's what i feel like, i actually make an effort and put on makeup again now and care what i wear, but sometimes i just feel like carp, oh well!

gill, hope you feel better soon xx

by the way, i was on ASOS the other day and they have loads of maternity stuff in the sale, some as cheap as £6.00 when i looked

Also Pumpkin Patch have a sale on at mo and had some gorgeous stuff reduced by loads

so excited about week off, gonna see parents for first time since Christmas, also i am hoping the baby might kick in the next few days, i think i've been feeling flutterings but don't know if this is too early? (I'm 16 wks today)

Nikkit, have you considered a Home Birth or do you not want that? have you looked around MK recently? Might put your mind at rest,or help you make your mind up, either way!

No worries. MIL |& partner have gone now to their hotel so thought i'd pop in while doing 11pm feed.

I feel very lucky that we've managed to settle into a routine so quuickly and easily. He is generally very mild mannered and co-operative!

How long will Finn go between feeds then?

It varies widely - during the day he can be in "hungry mode" and do 1.5-2hrs or as much as 4! At night, it's 3-4hrs. I can count on 1 hand the times he's gone more than 4 hrs :p

Looking forward to more updates on Alfie! He looks a sweetie :A

Got a letter in post today for appointment with specialist and scan:j:j:j

    BUT

It's not until 9th March :(:(:( I'll be 13 weeks. I'm a bit annoyed that I've had to wait longer than I should do really but midwife warned me the hospital is shortstaffed.

I could go to see doctor who would be able to get me to see someone straightaway if I say I'm concerned but as bump is growing and I'm feeling ok I'll just have to be patient :)

Sorry for moaning:o I'm worried about scan and I'm fed up with the waiting:( I just want to know bean is ok:A

And I want to start buying things!!;):D

DP - I think its just one of those things, I generally have one really good day, followed by two ok-ish but not fantastic days and then two days of just being utterly miserable about everything, the way i feel, the way i look, emotional, physical etc.... taking the rough with the smooth as they say...

Im hoping it means i end up being one of these women whose like superwoman up till birth, and then just sneezes and baby is here.............. :) Thats my birth dream.....LOL

I didnt have my 12 week scan till I was 13+5, and given past mmc, I thought I'd be seen earlier...... but then saying that I also had to wait for another 6 weeks for a booking appt, at which point i was 19 weeks

The joys of understaffing in the nhs.....

I just started buying things, and just thought I can do it all one of two ways, I can sit on my hands and hope and pray and cry that its not another mmc, or i can go about my life as if everything is ok, and the days when I didnt do that were much longer days!

Well am up and uncomfy. I think something happened over night! My (.Y.) have deffinate leakage going on and feels like lil lady is trying to make an escape cos def more pressure downstairs, and real uncomfy!

Oooh sounds like your little lady is engaging! How exciting!
now i can't get enough of pineapple (although not eating 8 in one go so nothing to worry about ;)) and fruit, even though i'm not much of a fruit fan normally. Also eaten LOADS of toast and cheese, bit obsessed.

Can I ask a question, have any of you actually had that "blooming" feeling everyone goes on about? I'm not as sick anymore but constantly feel like i'm ill and just a bit rough - i don't believe i'm ever going to feel great like they say! is this just a myth to try and get us to populate?!

i have to say I've been pretty relaxed about what to/not to eat during pregnancy. As i say i craved eggs, so ate quite a few runny fried eggs on toast, had some pat! at Christmas, have had the odd v small glass of wine, etc. I have read up quite a lot about it to make an informed decision but i think there's quite a lot of scaremongering that goes on about it... and don't get me started on people telling/asking you what you are "allowed"!

well i am now off work for a week, yay! i'm still in my PJs, started as i mean to go on :D

Watch out for those pineapples!! I had a big one the day before I went into labour! And spice fajitas for tea!

I did feel as though I blossomed, and everyone did keep telling me how well I looked and how much pregnancy suited me whaich was really lovely!

I also didn't worry too much about things we are not supposed to eat. I had medium steak, soft whip ice cream and cured meat. Didn't eat eggs as I don't like them but prob would have done. Only thing I completely avoided was pate and I missed that a lot! Hubby got me some in for when I got out of hospital, bless him!!

Right started writing this ages ago then ILs arrived! Off now but hope everyone is ok.

I'll pop on later tonight to check on any news from Nikki!

    Hello :)

OH is watching Football, Pompey are playing their last game before they go bust, and its against our rivals, southampton. My facebook is full of status updates about how 'we hate scum' :rotfl:

    Men.. :rotfl:

Im about to watch the vampire diarys :D

Oooh last night baby kept sticking her knee's out and i was poking them and she was putting them back in, then sticking them out, it was really sweet :D
Then i had loads of pains, had a feel of bump and felt her back, so the pains was her turning around i think.
But had another feel today and cant feel her back anymore so i think she's turned back to her back-to-back position *sigh* :p

Smartie, your scan is 2 days after im due and im due in 22 days, so think of it as 24 days away :D Doesn't seem as long away then :D
Also the further along you are the better the pic, i was 12+6 at mine and the pics were fab :D

Im full term tomorrow! :j Get to start my eviction plan :D

:( OH just bought me up a time out bar and threw it to me and it hit me in the nose! My eyes are watering now! :rotfl::(
