Welcome to the new folks on the list!

Then awesome DH brought in KFC bucket!!! He's so good... how do I tell him I forgot to arrange a babysitter for our Valentine's Dinner night out tomorrow nite!!!??? argh!

SJ, how on earth are you doing scheduled feeding? If I tried to do that, Finn would wail the house down until the 4 hr mark as quite often he wants it sooner than that...do you just let him be hungry until then or what? Not criticising, but just curious as to how it works!
Well, basically I had been feeding on demand as suggested by MW, so every time last night that I put him (asleep) in his basket he'd wake up and root around, stick out his tongue etc like he was hungry so I was putting him to the breast he was latching on, feeding for a few minutes and then falling asleep. So i was leaving him a little while then putting him down but every time he'd wake back up and the cycle would start again!
This morning I was so tired as this had gone on from 1.30am til 5am and I was exhausted! So I decided after I fed him around 8am that I would leave him even though he looked hungry and so I didn't feed him til 12.30. He rooted around a bit and stuff was generally happy til then. Did the same until 4.30pm and the same til about 9pm although he was still waking up, mumbling, whimpering, crying a little but settling himself. Then I also decided that maybe he was a bit coldso I wrapped swaddled him and put a hat on and he went down into his basket and didn't really hear a peep from him (apart from a really loud stinky poo) until 1.30am
Fed him, swaddled him and he's gone back down and still sleeping soundly.
So I think basically he was possibly just too cold and was liking the boob for comfort and the warmth of being held. He was ok when we held him too before, obviously cos he was warmer then too, was just when I put him in his basket that he complained.
I feel bad that I didn't realise sooner but it is a steep learning curve so not being too hard on myself!
So I'm not feeding bang on 4 hourly or anything, but I'm making sure I leave it til i know he'll be hungry and not just feeding whenever he roots around!
Not sure if that's what you meant and sorry it's long winded but hope it maybe helps?!
Anyway, back to bed now, night! xx0 -

Just a quick heads up ladies the Boots Natural Touch Feeding Bottles x4 were originally £11.99 a box they have been reduced to £3.00 a box because they are being discontinued.
Please dont be tempted to buy them! I paid full price for them before i had Kaden was only using them for storing expressed milk in and letting DD1 feed bubs but they leaked everywhere! I brought 8 of them and everyone of them was the same!
Luckily they took them back and let me exchange them just thought i would warn you incase any of you had brought them or were tempted by the low price!
Huge labour vibes for nikkit!!
Appropriate vibes for everyone else!

morning all,
oh how i feel rough , i had contractions again in the night for about 5 hours and thought i would get up and go and have aparcetamol and a bath , so while water heating up had a bounce on ball , and voila NOTHING !!!!!!!! all stopped again,
The contractions last night were mostly in my lower back , would start off in back for about 40 secs then filter round to belly for about 15 secs then go away , this was about every 4 minutes ,from about 2 am, omg i am really feeling !!!! now., i have the most awful headache imagineable , right at front of head and really painful , not sure to do with being tired, the contractions or what, and my ankles are so painful like i have run a mile, not swollen though .
The pain seems to be coming back in my back but not as bad as last night and not going round front just all in my back .
im off to lie on sofa be back in a bitDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -

Thansk Som, its gone for now so must have needed a nap.
I feel so bad, my brother is 30 next week and he asked if me and mam wanted to go halves on 24 seriers 1-7 inc redemption cos it was £75 on play.com well I went to order it this morning and the price has jumped to £150
So I had to text him the bad news about it cos we cant afford 150 and to ask if there was anuthing else he wanted
and he replied saying there is nothing else, all he wanted was that, so that made me cry
he has text back saying sorry but he's in a bad mood today
But I feel so bad that I'm just gonna have to get him money for his 30th
