Good luck for today Kindof :)

Gym, i dont really have many friends to go out with, all my friends went to London for uni and i didn't, so they all like to go out drinking and cant understand why i have settled down, and also im pregnant so instantly not invited out anymore lol. My only real friend, i can only really see her once a month as she's always busy with her little boy. So im going to see my mum on Monday :D

OH is finishing work at 4pm today as we have ante natal again tonight :D

Welcome to nene and congrats :D

Baby is really runnning out of room to move now, its funny watching her trying to move around, she usually gives up and just kicks me :rotfl:

Speaking of weird dreams, i had a few last night that kept waking me up.

One i remember was that i had these two horses and i was riding one of them and it was speaking to me. And we were riding by this fence and on the other side of the fence there was a pond/lake thing, and a dead body floating in it. And the horse was joking saying "im going to throw you in" and i went "please dont there's a dead body in there" and the horse freaked out and i fell off and went to go into the pond. But i woke up with a shock and was laying there scared. (I have a phobia of deep water by the way...)

And another one was that i had the baby and i kept putting her places to sleep but people kept putting duvets on her and i was freaking out and saying she cant have a duvet as she's under 1, but no one was listening to me and kept putting it back on her.

    I hate dreams... lol
  • Morning all,

Hope all mums and bumps are well.

Thanks nikkit for adding me to the list i wasnt going to ask as i felt bad pushing in:o.

Im so bored being at home i never thought i would miss going to work:eek:

Im a wee bit green eyed about all your valentine making.

Ive always worked valentines (run my own florist company)
so me and OH have never made the effort and i do feel its a rip off.

I've always had weird dreams, but since being pregnant the have gotten weirder. Most of them are about OH leaving me though :(

Think i might watch confessions of a shopaholic for something to do :)

Need to re write my birth plan to, as most of whats on there is now impossible after seeing the birthing centre lol.

Daft question - do you have to use, for example, Avent steriliser with Avent bottles or can you mix and match brands of sterilisers/bottles??
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D

you can mix and match , the sterillisers are usually a standard size,

Well got dressed , done hair , came downstairs , cleaned all cupboard under sink amd found loads stuff i forgot i bought ages ago ,i.e 15 bottles of suntan lotion , when boots were selling it all for 50p  lol always the way,:rotfl:

Gonna get a highlightening kit today , as i think being as im so close to delivering shouldnt make much difference if i do it now , will make me feel better about myself , ii hate having dark hair , i love being a blonde :) even thogh its not natural blonde :)

for last 2 nights i have been waking up thinking im in labour , and im not so sad :(

neneromanova - Congrats and well done on reaching the 12 week milestone and welcome to the PG thread :D

Gym - friends have called there lil boy Ethan :D am still waiting on more details from OH! Thanks but think we'll leave the labour vibes for 38 weeks :D

Kindof - Toad in the hole daring!!! Hope you feel better soon and your hospital visit is ok xx

nikkit - ooh you have been busy, have fun doing your highlights, chucking a few more labour vibes your way.

LMF - dont usually do valentines but as Im home and bored it seemed a good excuse, that and that fact OH has been really good while Ive been pg and he hasnt asked for much for his birthday tomorrow so just my way of saying thanks x

EA - hate weird dreams think thats why Im awake so long after them cos they are a bit unsettling!

Yorkgal - yes youll be able to mix up brands you may just find they dont fit the same quantaties eg you may only fit 5 and not 6 TT bottles in the avent sterilisr!

Crazy morning for me went to hospital and specialist skin doc looked at the legion on my neck, she too thinks it will go after pg but have a follow up appointment in 3 months to check. She took a pic of it for her records and said if it doesnt clear up I can have it removed but will leave a small scar, other option is to pay for it lasering! Decideed to pop along to physio too and see them about my spd. Now have crutches  and an itchy tubi grip! tucked my vest top under the tubi grip tho and feels much better and offers way more suppport for hip and bump than the belt did. Had to pop to Tesco again to get OHs DVDs for his birthday tomorrow, what a nightmare, my handbag wouldnt stay on my shoulder and with the cruthches carrrying anythin was a !!!!!!. Oh and how ignorant people are, pg and on crutches and still getting barged!

Friend is coming over this afternoon yeay! she text me last minute to say she is free from 1 till 4 :D We are gonna watch a film and eat popcorn and chocolate Mmmm. Think tonight will be my last aquanatel, not sure how sensible it is to drive 17 miles in the opposite direction to the hospital at this stage, not now am tired and uncomfy too.

OH and in tesco they were just putting the finnishing touches to there baby evnt, lots of goodies for those of you who have still to get some of the main bits. Oh and Mat stuff for Mum too plus some cute baby clothes with 25% off :D

Well I am back, everything is ok, my BP was fine, and my pee was fine too, she said I have to ring back if I get bad headaches again, she doesn't want me ignoring the headaches just cos everything was ok this time around.

It was awful while we were waiting though, we were in the pregnancy assessment waiting room, and there was a few examination rooms just off the waiting room, and we could hear a woman crying her eyes out asking why it happened to her, and why did it have to happen

So she obv had some bad news, it was awful, I think there should have been a radio or a tv or something so we couldnt hear her pain, and also I felt so bad for her knowing that we could hear her, and then her having to walk past us all in the waiting room, I mean I would imagine its the last thing you want to do is walk past 3 havily pregnant women.

OH mentioned it to the MW as a suggestion that there should be a radio or something in the waiting room

YAY neneromanova :) pleased the scan went well

EA your dreams are funny, I have had such weird dreams lately as well, I will try and remember some lol

Eek crutches Som!! Are they helping you though?
