I think most medical sources/studies say it's safe from about 32 weeks, which I trust a wee bit more than some store employee. ;) (H&B prolly just say that to be cautious so they don't get sued )

Seem to have even more blotches this morning:eek::eek:- does anyone else blow blood vessels when they are sick? I'm not the vainest of people but honestly look like I have been in an accidnet or have some horrible disease!

Hi Gemma, my husband gets blotches after he has been sick too, they usually go down the next day or so.

Well we didnt win the childrens chairs at the auction :(

And my friend (who was due the day before me) has text to say she had her baby this afternoon :T I really really want mine now, lol!! :o Seems odd seeing my name so close to the top of the list!!

    Labour vibes to you GISI!!

Well I have bought a lasagne, garlic bread and cheesecake as I asked my friend if she wanted dinner round here tonight. I know not very good that Im not making it from scratch :o, but being as I rarely entertain, I am quite pleased with myself for this small step forward. I am deffo gonna cook from scratch next time I have anyone over.

    xx

Just something else that I wanted to say too..baby clothes sizes..they really are wierd. Ethan weighs 8lb 15.5 and all his 0-3 months clothes drown him, quite a few newborn things are big on him too..he's wearing a few tiny baby outfits untill he fits into them!!! And I wouldn't say nearly 9lb is tiny?! lol. It's funny though cos to me he does look so small and tiny!

This is because newborn babies are still all scrunched up from being squished into a tiny space, it takes them a good few weeks until their limbs are all stretched out fully.
I know quite a few people who have had to go out and get newborn bits and pieces because all the 0-3 month stuff just drowned the little mites:)
Even my three fitted into a few newborn things and they were not small babies:o

  • what do you lovely ladies like to drink at a social event so people don't notice you're not actually drinking alcohol? i've been invited to a couple parties tonight (bonfire parties) and i don't want to drink boring softdrinks or water. Does anyone have any inventive drinks i could take along?

Alcohol free beer? Or you can have a shandy? Or maybe just carry around a glass of wine and occasionly tip it out? :D
