Um...is this the right place? I'm due on 25th February 2010 so about six and a bit weeks to go. REALLY looking forward to seeing our little baby girl or boy. We have chosen not to find out beforehand what we're having as we like the element of surprise!
Are there any websites that I should have joined? Have I missed anything?!?!?Baby Bump born 4th March 2010! :kisses:

Oh my goodness I'm 7th on the list! :rotfl:37 weeks today so officially full term  Better start bouncing on my gymball while eating pineapple
I've made a start on washing and ironing the baby things - so far done all 1st size clothes plus the sheets and blankets. Got everything for my hospital bag but not actually packed it yet. Going to do some batch cooking tomorrow and more washing and ironing...oh the excitement :rotfl:
Gym - re the dress, have you asked whether they can check any other stores for bigger sizes? Don't ask don't get and all that. Failing that, get the code off the tag and a list of stores you could travel to and ring them yourself. A bigger size is much easier to take in than a smaller size made bigger IYSWIM. Good luck
Congrats to the new mummies and welcome newbies

Well went to Sainsburys after work and stocked up on lots of stuff again, spent about £20 on various mat bits for me and some toiletries for bubs. also made the most of the nappies on offer, but bit pee'd that they dont do size2 nature nappies. Am already confused as to how many of each to stock up on without one of the sizes missing lol. Our lil sainsburys still had pleanty of stock tho which was good and in the clothing department still a fair few baby bits 1/2 price as well as in the 1/3 off promotion. Resisted buying more, but dis pick up some tights for lil girl.
Have volunteered to take MIL to town tomorrow as she needs something for a do she is going to on sat, so fingers crossed the weather is ok for that and Antenatal class now. Just having a late RLT as havent had much time today and then gonna read for a bit before finally sleeping if OH doesnt keep me awake and it isnt too hot.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Ive had a really good day actually....
And am ashamed to admit, Im really proud of myself for getting 3 meals in today. That sounds so pathetic, but where I havent got out of bed till like 1pm, first meal was lunch, then dinner, but I managed brekkie, lunch, dinner, and a pud!
Am addicted to lemon surprises from morrissons, they are so tart, but Little L and I love them xx
Did some more work on my scrap book ideas thing, and my nursery decoration ideas as well. So far have been googling images and putting them together in word, and then going through them every so often and finding the best coordinating ones.
Showed DH my nursery one earlier, and I think he was (sadly) really proud of me, I'd done him some sketches as well because he cant "see" what I mean when I show him just ideas, but think he really liked it.... now just need to get house and materials and get started LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi all, Hope you don't mind me joining the thread. I am expecting my third on 28/03/2010, if someone would kindly add me to the list. Even though I only had my daughter dec 07 it feels like an age ago. This babe doesn't gve me big kicks like the other two just wriggles about alot like they are running out of space.
I haven't found out what sex we are having..
Must start getting organised as some of you seem so ready.

Well it bloody well snowed! Grrrr its tres annoying but have decided to just get on today. Took OH to work at 7am and managed that ok, so still taking MIL to town and praying antenatal is not cancelled or will start to panick. MW said we would talk about birth plan once I had more info from classes, err yeah and what if I dont get the classes, eek. Hate the thought of not having all the info and being unprepared.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning Som,I don't think you cld poss be described as unprepared
:D
I don't think I get antenatal classes this time as it's my 2nd,but I found that last time they didn't tell me anything new that I didn't already know.Plus I've learnt even more from this forum ie calcium and rlt info.I might try and book a hospital tour as I gave birth in the old hospital and they have moved to a brand new unit since.Anyway hope that your class isn't cancelled.
I went to the dentist yest and hated it!I had to have a cavity filled and a descale.Bled like mad as I have bleeding gums at the mo,app caused by the pregnancy. So hate the dentist but put on a huge brave jolly face cos my 3 yr old dd was in the rm having her 1st app
Ps sorry forgot to say big congrats to Gemma (adore the name!),Nova girl and nicoop!!!:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010

What do you do Som? Do you get leg cramps due to the standing? With my first bub I worked a 40 hr week in a shop (ie also on feet all day) and by about 6 months I would wake up in the night with the most excruticating cramps in my legs!I think I gave up about 6 weeks before she was born and that was a real struggle so you have my sympathy.
This time its not that as I'm part time anyway but more to do with the being jumped/climbed/bounced on LOL, though they all know you can't really expect them to understand or make allowances, bless em. Unfortunately your average 3 yr old is exactly bump height, I've actually had small people running to me for a hug when they come in and bouncing off my belly! The knack is to catch them before we collide!!!
I guess its different for me though as I'm not going back to work, I can understand wanting as much time a possible after bub if on maternity leave. x:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
kelinik - I work at Mothercare 40 hours a week (tho only 32 this week and only 24 for the two after) so far no leg cramps but back ache and spd make it uncomfy by about lunch time. I know what you mean about toddlers at bump height, I seem to spend all day dodging them lol.
Its trying to snow again grr!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
