Right im going to grill some of you since google didn't give me the answers i need :D

I got this from Aless :)

So between wks 36-38 do i take 2 a day and then at night stick 1 into my foof? And do i do this every night or just 3X a week?

Also are these ok to use?
    http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=123&prodid=676

    Then the calcium -

All i can find is this..
    http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=161&prodid=433

Which are 600mg, so to make it upto 1,000mg i would need to take 2. But that would bring me to 1,200mg, does that matter?
Or does anyone know where i can get 1,000mg ones?

Thank Youuuuuu to whoever answers

hey hun!! 8 weeks to go hey???!!! how fast has that gone! My llittle Jack is 18 weeks and had fruity porridge today and he loved it :j He's a gannet, currently feeding every 2.5hrs - very tiring! (ps its a growth spurt, is not the norm!)

    anyways, to your question.

Calcium - I got the ones you linked to but got the 250 cos they were on offer at the time and took 2 so 1,200mg a day. I think I started these around 32 weeks as they are supposed to help build up pain barriers. No harm in starting them earlier. I then took 3 when I went into labour. The leftovers made their way to Weezl :)

I had the 1000mg EPO caps (High strength) and took 1 a day from week 34 and then as soon as I hit week 37 I upped it to 2. Plan was to start insertion at 37 weeks as well but I put it off and ended up having Jack at 37+2 anyway.

remember, I started the EPO earlier then recommended cos of my impendin induction @ 38 weeks.

look forward to seeing more of you over on the parent thread xx

I have 40 tea bags at the moment.
    Plan is:

    32wks-34wks: 1 cup a day = 14 tea bags
    34wks-36wks: 2 cups a day = 28 tea bags
    36wks-38wks: 3 cups a day = 42 tea bags
    38wks - 40weeks + : 4 cups a day = 56 tea bags

    Total = 140 tea bags/7 boxes :D

And then if i have any left afterwards i will drink them to help with milk production etc :)

What do you think of the Bumbo?

I mentioned one to OH earlier and he said it looks like it will give baby back problems...

thanks red! He is my little baldy man :rotfl:

Bumbo's - They are supposed to teach baby to sit properly & have been developed alongside Orthopaedic bods. He has started sitting up better on my lap since he's been in the Bumbo!
They are on offer in Mothercare atm - around £26 WITH the tray! I paid £25 without tray (tray around £7.99) and that was down from £35!!!

  • How cute Glam :)
Bumbos are brilliant! We had one exactly the same for my son and we used to take it about with us whilst visiting family, etc. Reminds me that I'll have to ask my friend to pass it back to me for the baby :)
