Gemma i used the Veet cream about a week before due date but went 9 days over and by that time it had already grown back a bit but it didn't even cross my mind at the time lol. At least it was tidy though, i imagine some people are so hairy you can't tell if the baby has hair til it's completely out :rotfl: Oh it's crowning and has lots of hair. Oh wait, no it doesn't. _pale_ :D

I'm 5'1" and quite small framed. My DS was 6lb 6oz and i had quite a few stitches nothing too major though.
DD was 7lb 3oz and i had none but i think i needed one  She reckons it's gonna heal on its own though.

With DD the only reason i didn't tear much was cos i listened to the mw and didn't push when she said lol. With DS i pushed him out too fast for the skin to keep up.
  • Arghhh, I'm pulling my hair out now!
It's DD1 11th birthday friday and I have purposely waited til kids go back to school to get presents food for sleepover etc and they went back yesterday but dd2 was off sick now today we have like 6 in of snow and it's only getting worse.Kids are at home and I have no idea what I am going to do. At this rate she'll have NO presents (we did buy her a mobile last weekend which she already has as she chose it) but I can not let it get to fri morn and have nothing for her to open :(
DH was going to try drive us down to ASDA later when he gets back cos I daren't drive in this with kids in car as my car revs more than a rally car and that's in good conditions. But if this carries on even that might not happen.

    Sorry to rant.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and warm.
    Come on baby PP x

Som, I started mine from 34 weeks personally but obviously advice varies based on who you talk to:

    Weeks 34-35, 1-2/day orally
Weeks 36-37, 2/day orally, insert 1 capsule at night (I did on nights we didn't DTD so not every single one, but I know some ladies have)
Weeks 38+, 3-4/day orally, insert 1 at night as above.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

    Hello :D

Went to the bank today to put some money in, thought i would risk it. Loads of shops are shut due to adverse weather conditions lol.
Its so snowy and icy out. I made it to the bank at 1:50pm and they were due to shut at 2pm, lucky :D

Then went for a McDonalds :)

I usually have BH when i walk long distances, and today i got them whilst walking. So i had to try and breath through the pain of them whilst trying not to slip up, which i did loads of times. But i didn't actually fall over :)

OH managed to hold onto me everytime i slipped lol. My feet were soaked by the time we got home.

PP, glad you and baby are ok, but boo to the hospital for sending you home with no baby :p
