Hi IHF :hello:
I'm 31 weeks Monday & don't think I've experienced BH but then figure I wouldn't know anyway
I was told I couldn't have cocodomol (sp?) either - something to do with taking it then going into labour & baby breathing? Though actually thinking hard about it this may have been codeine
I'm a size 12 normally, but tall with it at near enough 5'10 so think til now baby has stretched out in my long body, only now is he starting to push out, feels like my skin is going to split - I've been telling OH he's going to come out from my belly button one day it feel so tight!!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Thanks for the replys regarding the co-codamol ladies. I never thaught i would have co-codamol (which is codine and paracetamol) as it always made me feel unwell but since being poorley they have been a godsend.
It must be a risk thing when a mum to be gets really poorley - where the hospital docs have decided that it is safer for orit and me to have the painkillers and bp meds versus an induction / csection. To be honest it is the effects of the bp medication on orit that is worrying me the most:eek: And believe me i begged them to get her out for her own safety on several occaisions:o
And how on earth did i miss the post regarding you breaking your elbow gymfiend - sorry. Quick healing vibes to you0 -
Gym, I have this dress the fairies could send you for the christening? I think it's a normal size 14 but v.stretchy and IMO would look much better on someone a little taller (I'm only 5'4"
). This photo was taken at 18 weeks but it was after a wedding, late at night so I felt much bigger

:o), anyone else? I feel left out
I never had BH with Ds1 or Ds2, but with Ds3 they were really bad......I used to have to stop about 3 times just going to the school and back, I was doubled over leaning over fences/gates just to get through them:eek:
I hope I don't get them so badly this time round, but something tells me everything will be worse/quicker this time:o 16wk appt on Wednesday, lovely! more blood to be stolen from me:rolleyes:
I have found a local(ish) shop that stocks both icandy pear and peach so will hopefully get over to look at them in the next week or so....although a bit of decorating going on and new carpets and things so will see how the time goes.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
RE BH's, I've been having them since about 18 weeks or something. Back then I just noticed my bump went hard, sometimes it would go hard but I wouldn't feel it unless I touched it IYSWIM. Now at almost 34 weeks they are getting strong and almost painful, have woken me up a couple of times now. Makes me realise how close I'm getting to meeting my baby!!!! According to my MW it's perfectly normal (although not as common) to get them as early as I did, as well as only getting some right near the end or even not at all.
Well I finally decided on christmas cake, cheese and an apple for lunch. It was nice! I love xmas cake and cheese, and I love apple and cheese too. DH didn't fancy it so he went and got fish n chips but I feel as though I should be eating a lot better now. I figured my apple made my lunch healthier!
Just watching Wild Russia now, in Siberia it gets as cold as -70 degrees:eek:
Labour vibes for PP, jha, maybebaby, jonno and anyone else who I forgot (:o sorry if I did!)0 -
Back to feeling pants again today, what a roller coaster ride this is going to be.
Woke up feeling worse than when i went to bed, struggled to fight off pins and needles in my arms over night. DH took me out shopping to have time away from kids and we were only out a couple of hours and have come home in agony. Im still spotting the brown/orange/pink discharge and now have back ache grrr. Managed to read up through google that the discharge could be because of high amounts of oestrogen due to the clomid but even so it still does not stop you worrying.
Thought coming on here today there may have been a 2010 baby announcement but looks like they are all holding on.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997
Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!0 -
Aww hugs PP and EA
What strength are your co-codamol PP as the cramps come through my 8/500 and i was considering asking for stronger ones
They are the same as the ones i am taking, its also what they gave me at the hospital the other night too!
Have been into town this afternoon thought the walking about might help little man to get a move on :rotfl:
Took DD2's ds back and argued with the manager and he gave me a credit note which i spent on ds games and then managed to get one for not much more off ebay and its a better one and pink so when it arrives she will be very happy indeedthey now also have enough games to keep them going for a good while :rotfl::rotfl:
Other than that im still here and still exactly the same :rolleyes:0 -

I had some awfully painful contractions last night they actually woke me up they were that painful  they eased off a bit after taking some cocodomol though...
Fed up of feeling exhausted all the timeMy house looks like a bomb has hit it yet im too tired to do anything
Awww screw the house.
Mine looks like a tip as well, I have finally got off my !!!! and started tidying (I had no excuse lol) and now OH is ill, It wont be getting tidied anytime soon lol.
Found a Lloyds CC bill on the table and we are £50 over the limit  so i've had to just pay £120  lol
I hope things progress ASAP for you PP
Three - Elliot has been super active today as well, OH and I were laying on the sofa before and he was properly kicking, OH's head was on my belly and I could see his head bouncing up and down lol it was mad!
I think your dad looking for work away is a good idea as well three
Thanks Somwe got the base, I wanted to buy Cludeo, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit and Game of Life but it would have cost me £100 :eek::eek: so we ended up just getting Game of Life as neither of us have played it
we have a table in the kitchen but I think we might be able to play it on the coffee table in the sitting room, cos our sofa's are set out like a L
We got the Hauck Travel Cot, deffo want a new mattress though cos the one that is on it is soooo thin, this will be elliots main sleeping place for 6 months so we need the little guy to be comfy.
Yeah I was thinking of getting the decs down tomorrow, but OH doesnt want them down yetbut I am slowly taking things down lol, the cards are down now, and I wil slowly put away decs tommorrow, then the tree can come down next weekend or something?
And we are going to have to put Elliots clothes from 6 months onwards away in a plastic box as there is no room in his wardrobe and drawers lol
Then once he gets too big for clothes we will need to box them away as well in case any further babies are boys too, you dont think that is shocking do you? having baby two wearing Elliots clothes (we will buy new stuff as well)
Butterfly Lady I saw MW at 25 weeks and 28 weeks (and will be seeing her again on tuesday 31+1)
At the 25 week appointment she gave me my HipG form, and my MAT1B, she checked position of baby and measured me and listened to heartbeat
At the 28 week appointment she did my last lot of blood tests, she checked baby's position again, measured him and listened to heartbeat

Isnt it really strange to think just how much joy eating something you really craved can bring to you when you're pregnant.
DH and I went out in the blizzard to Morrisons, one of my feet got wet (I only seem to have boots made of primark suede/fleece - which was fine for Kent, not so much County Durham!).....
Anyway............... long story short, went mad for vegetables, did a quick 10 minute meal plan for the week whilst walking around, and went for a veggie casserole for tonights dinner. Managed to completely forgot to get anything like a sachet mix, came home, remembered, "borrowed" what was left in flatmates jar of vegetable gravy, figured it'd do, giant pot of veggie casserole made in 40 minutes, and it was UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS!!!!
DH pointed out that yes it was quite nice, considering it was gravy with some rosemary and thyme thrown in (also "borrowed") for the sauce....
But I didnt care.............. mopped out my bowl with some bread, and even though a little part of me resented it, I had to leave the remainder in the pot for tomorrows dinner as well..... but now Im just really excited about dinner tommorrow.....
Plus Im really sadly proud of myself for having made it all myself, and having done something worthy today.....
And Little L obviously loves veggies as he's woken up and is fluttering away quite happily....Baby Buble due June 2010
