Sarah_Joanne wrote: »Does that mean it was hard work being out and about Aless?! I have to say I was thinking yesterday that I'm quite used to my bump now and I think I will miss it a bit when it's gone!
Well right now am still quite sore, so 'moving around' is prolly just as difficult as when full term pregnant! But also is just a bit intimidating/scary to be caring for this needy little baby...going for a 20 minute walk is fine as he doesn't need anything, but thinking about going out for any length of time (like even to shops) is quite scary...what if he cries non-stop, what if he is sick, how will I cope with changing him in public for 1st time, etc etc.
Sorry not having a moan at all, just using you guys as my free psychologists :rotfl:
P.S. also the severe lack of sleep, even though I of course knew it would be like this, has really been a shock to my body I think.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

well got my body pillow froom lidl yesterday at £8.99 , and only woke up once last night instead of 4 or 5 times , was lovely ,
had lots BH last night constantly for about 2 hours every 15 mins or so , got on my ball and bounced and rocked and everything was so much more relaxing ,
took DD to our city centre for 3 hours yesterday think thats why i was getting the BH, got a lovely santa outfit from M & S for £3.00 reduced from £9.50 so was happy ,
slept for about 2 hours yesterday afternoon after we got back was whacked,
Labour vibes , sticky vibes , get well soon vibes to all who need,
Aless dont worry to much it all comes natuarally , i cant wait to be able to go out with little man , if he cries , then so be it , dont think about what other people think , hes your little man , he will settle , dont forget its all scarey to him too , just make sure hes wrapped up warm and snug, honestly when you go otu for a long period , when things happen it come snatuarally and its so easy , i know its scary the first time , but please relax and enjoy it , dont get so upset or you wont enjoy these early days ,
Try grab naps when he naps during the day too if you can , forget about husework etc , grab a few mins of you time , you will soon wake when he does , trust me you do , even if he doesnt cry , you just do , IYSWIMDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
Aless,Iremember feeling like that for the first 2 wks or so,I was petrified when oh went back to work.Don't worry every day your gain a bit more confidence. The most important thing I learnt was there's no real 'right' way of doing it all.I was a desperate for a book to tell me how to do it all correctly but even the books say different things!Remember to rest whenever you can!The chores aren't as important as you recharging your batteries

SJ - I know the general concensous is Mothercare are useless at bra fitting, but its not the same everywhere I promise you. At the mo they probably have some good bargains on bra's too. Just remember when trying on nursing bra's they wont fit you till your milk comes in/baby is born so its odd trying them on, and its best guess by the fitter. I totally trust the lady at our store who measures me, she even knows that the different styles within the MC range come up different (so much so that I'm wearing 3 sizes 40 d, 40dd and a 40E due to varying styles but all fit same). With regards to when you should be fitted then the later the better, ideally 38 weeks on, but if your gonna have a c section earlier or you know that you have a history of early babies then go sooner.
Kindof - just to let you know that mothercare dont usually stock the quattro as the Trenton is pretty much the same pushchair just different colours and the wheels on the quattro are newer (their both made by Graco). Oh and hope last night means your on the mend, get well vibes for you x
Luce - good luck for the scan, I've had 5 throught the PG and been a lil nervous before each one.
PP - good luck at the dentist, oh and you just reminded me I need to cancel my hygenist appointment, really cant warrant £45 just for a clean!
Nikkit - so pleased that the long pillow gave you a better nights sleep, I know I couldn't live without mine, even considered getting a second one, but there just isnt room in the bed.
Jha - hope your bp continues to improve hun xxx no more hospital visits till babies here xxx
Aless - hope you get used to taking finn out soon, I know its all lil steps at first. I'll be just going out for short walks once am up to it, then work up to bigger trips.
Well for me had a lie in again now OH is back at work, felt stiff tho but has gone now thank heavens. Just had some toast, dont know why, but I prefer it with just marg atm. Need to go food shopping as the cupboards/fridge are a lil bear other than chocs. Washing is on gonna have a shower when thats finnished and then was thinking about clearing out my wardrobe, need to make room for baby stuff and there are things in there I havent worn for ages and prolly never will again.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
