  • Have you tried a glass of water above the radiator to increase the moisture in the air ?

meltdown point - do you ds have two single beds - could you move them into your double bed ( making oh more uncomfortable and making your point that he's no longer welcome )
Is the house yours or between you ? If it was my house I'd wait until he went out for something and change the locks & leave all his stuff ( including console ) outside in the wet/cold but then I am a bit of a force to be reckoned with:rotfl:

All kids have their own beds and rooms.....DS2 & DS3 moved them over tonight....I have the blow up bed...which is actually more comfortable that my own one!!
The house is mine:D.....I have no mortgage and am quite financially secure....just an emotional wreck atm...due to hormones I suppose.
I am loving that idea of leaving all his stuff outside but I couldnt be that horrible....Karma has a habit of coming back and biting me in the As5:p
I am making life uncomfortable for him....he started making food for everyone to eat.....(and I when it was cooked half way took the kids off to McDonalds:rotfl:) He hates wastage.........so do I and I wasted 3 years of my life with him!
    Baby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010

Not that lucky, I've only slept right through the night twice since being pg, every other night i'm up about 3ish for the loo, and in the last week it's been 2 or 3 times a night!

I also have had a really dry mouth when waking the last few nights, but I'm so congested I know it's cos I can't breathe through my nose.

I know tell me about it lol, I can't remember what its like to sleep all night without at least 3 toilet breaks!

And I have had a killer cold/flu for a week now, so I am with you on the dry mouth lol.

Poor OH is taken over with the smell of Vicks Vapour Rub every night lol

Went into town today with DH and was going to treat myself but couldn't decide what I wanted so ended up getting some aftershave for DH and then went for lunch - that was nice though, my favourite Japanese noodle soup!!

Ohhhhh was that Wagamama's by any chance? I LOVE that place, I get Chicken Tama Rice everytime I go, ohhhh I want one now, I might suggest it to OH, we have to go into Newcastle for it though.

Hmmms we were going to go to Team Valley to check out the mothercare see if they have the pram we like so we can test it then I can order it from Kiddiecare, so maybe we can pop into Newcastle on the way home lol

I'm 5+4 with my first pregnancy so have no idea what to expect! Keep feeling I shouldnt be reading so much on the internet as I'm turning into the worlds worst hypochondriac!

Only have sore bb's so far and some twingy crampy things that come in fits and starts so not doing too badly so far, although I think until I see the heartbeat I won't believe i'm actually pregnant.

Thats exactly how I felt as well lol, I was pretty sure when I went for the scan there would be nothing there lol, but nope babybean was there, heart beating away lol

And all I really had was sore bb's and some cramps, and I had some brown spotting as well.

Well I am in work tomorrow, I am only in for one day though so thats good, then I am back on the 4th Jan, and I will be counting down the days, 26 more days inc tommorrow till mat leave eek

No it wasn't actually!! It's a little independant place in Leeds called Fuji Hiro, kind of feels as though you are in someone's house for dinner, bit more authentic! It's so good tho, even better than Wagamama's!!

Can't believe you are still ill though, has it eased off at all ? :(

I'm sat in on my own watching baby programmes that I've sky +ed and eating chocolates!
  • So quiet tonight!

When anyone logs on, has anyone got any recommendations for where I can buy nice looking but cheap nursing bras? Realised I probably need to think about getting some sometime soon.

    Hello, it is quiet tonight!

I just watched the old Royale Family episode where Denise goes into labour on Christmas Day (sky + it earlier on Gold channel). Totally made me cry!!!

I got some nice nursing bras from M&S, 2 pack for £25. I went and got fitted in Bravissimo, their bras are nice but expensive, however discovered that I can get the same makes off ebay. So if you go there take note of the ones you like and order from ebay! I have only got the 2 and will get more after when I know feeding is going well and see how big my boobs get!!!!
    Bump due 30th December 2009 :j
  • Thanks, not sure when is the best time to go either re sizes!

I was reading the new birth stories earlier and they made me cry, especially the woman who gave birth in the car on the way to the hospital

I just saw on my box of chocs that each one is 73 calories, so that's 511 calories from the 7 that I ate!!! That's crazy!!

Also agreed today to buy a brand new borth pool from a friend of a friend for £90 including all the accessories :money: Happy with that!

Going to mothercare tomorrow now as we still have a £50 voucher that we were given when we told DH's grandad our news. Hopefully get some nice things in the sale :D
  • MW said to go after 37 weeks to get measured and bth M&S and Bravissimo seemed fine with that when they asked how far I was. They measured me a cup size up from what I am wearing at the mo.

I read the birth stories yesterday, that one was amazing!!! Can't believe her husband kept driving and was laughing so much about her comment about the panty liner and its absorbant properties floating in the footwell!!!!

Hope you get some nice things in mothercare, I haven't been to the sale there yet so might have to go for a look!!!!
    Bump due 30th December 2009 :j
  • I know! And typical he thought she was being overdramatic when she said the baby's head was crowning!!

We have a big mothercare world at a retail park near to us so going to brave the crowds! Hopefully should be a little better tomorrow as some people will be back in work.

Seeing as you only have 2 days left before EDD you might not get chance to get to one before bubs is here!! Is this your first?

SJ, when I went to Bravissimo they told me the same thing as maybebaby...go when you're around 36/37 at the earliest as this is the closest you'll be getting to size once baby's born. I splurged and got a couple from Bravissimo but only because I have mahoosive boobies and can't find my size in many other places.

well we got out in the pram for the first time today! I never thought I'd say this, but even though he's adorable and such, I miss being pregnant! :rotfl:
