Just wanted to add a very merry christmas to you all.

I cant tell you all how happy I am to actually be a part of this thread. All your help and advice has been so invaluable, I dont think I can ever thank you enough....

Beenie not to worry hun, I did search back to see if you replied but I couldnt even find my own post LOL

Had my first real pregnant woman cry -fest at totally innane things. Well not totally. It was the salvation army christmas appeal advert to supply a bag of clothes, and a hot meal to the homeless..... I was literally so choked by the old dear on the advert who holds this guy's hand and just talks to him.....

God, Ive set myself off again!
Anyway best wishes to all, look forward to hearing of the pitter patter of tiny xmas baby feet in the next few days....
I wanna know who wins the race for xmas day baby!!!

Hope everyone has a nice Christmas Day, I'm still quite bunged up, fuzzy-headed (literally, got to put deep conditioner on the bonce today and hack at it with a brush, ouch) and hubby won't let me have one measly drink today - that JD advert keeps coming on telly and tormenting me, I can just taste it in my mouth... :(

Anyhoot thanks for pointing out all the sales, am well distracted now and my bath is getting cold! Soooo tempted by John Lewis gorgeous baby things, must keep telling myself 'we don't need it' & get posting on freecycle & stick to searching on ebay! :p

  • Good morning all & a very Merry Christmas to you & bumps & families!

Well.....went to bed about 2:30am after opening some presents & watching a DVD i got OH! And I've been up since 3:50am!!!

Am very very sleepy but very happy because it is Christmas & been listening to carols on the radio all morning :D And Santa has been!! :xmassmile

I seem to be having contractions :j :j :j so I may win the race for Christmas baby (if my luck doesn't get in the way of nature & stop everything in it's tracks!). About 10 mins apart & painful at the time but still not too uncomfortable overall. Kinda wishing i was more uncomfortable cos then I may believe it  As it is, it feels like it could stop at any time. Hmmm....we shall see...

Gettin bored now & wanna wake OH so he can get ready & we can make sure presents get opened etc but he was so shattered after doing 2 13hr shifts, then a really early one, & then a late night last night, I just can't bring myself to do it. Maybe in an hour or so - 6 hours sleep should be sufficient for him, especially if I am in labour!!

Christmas wishes to you all & hope you all get exactly what you want today :A

    Happy Christmas!!

maz, I'll be soooo jealous if you go today but totally understandable! Thought I might be joining you last night as was getting some strong cramping but AS ALWAYS it totally died off the second we went to bed :rolleyes:.

Anyway, just done pressies and going to stick the turkey on as it's been my perpetual fear that we'd have to dash to hospital with a half-cooked turkey in the oven (and thus wasting the whole thing) so rather have it done well in advance just in case anything kicks off.

My sister got us the absolutely cutest baby things - I'll have to post a photo later b/c it's soooo adorable. I bought DH a computer game for Xmas so I'll be lucky to see even seconds of internet time today! :p
